Basque-French Coastline Private Experience

Wonderful day with Iker as he showed our family around some spots in Basque France and an amazing Spanish fortress town!

We truly could not have asked for a more perfect day. Iker was one of the best guides we’ve ever had and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable for our two teenagers. From exploring the market to taking in the incredible views and learning about the area’s rich history, every moment was memorable. It was such a beautiful day for our family of four, and we are already looking for reasons to come back to San Sebastián just so we can spend time with him again—perhaps for a golf trip next time! His knowledge, warmth, and ability to connect with all of us made the day unforgettable. There is honestly nothing that could have made our experience any better. Thank you, Iker, for creating memories our family will cherish for years to come.

Basque-French Coastline full day with Iker. Visits to 3 outstanding & beautiful towns: Saint Jean de Luz, Barritz and Hondarribia! Every one of them picturesque & historic. Loved learning all about Basque culture. Iker is a wealth of information & very knowledgeable about local food & customs. We enjoyed a fantastic late lunch in Hondarribia. Highly recommend touring with Iker. We spent 2 partial days & one full day with him. We felt fortunate to book with him.

Iker was exceptional! We spent 3 days together - food, wine, history, and sight seeing. We, even our teens, were eager and engaged with Iker's tutorials. We left with a much better understanding and a love for the area, cuisine and culture. Our day with Iker was incredible. He tailored the experience to our interests, and managed to pack in a ton of sights and activities, while never making us feel rushed—which felt like magic. His Basque heritage and deep knowledge of history and culture brought the region to life, and we loved hearing about the layered stories of each place throughout time. We only had a 1 day tour, but I would happily spend a week with Iker listening to his stories, seeing the Basque countryside through his eyes, and spending time with him. Can’t recommend him highly enough!
