Is very well organized
Was a great chauffeur and we learned a lot about Basel

Satisfactory bus trip
Bus trip was comfortable. The bus is not open air on the top level so taking photos can be difficult. It was a pleasant experience. Bus driver was helpful and happy. Commentary was good.

Very Disappointed.
Couldn’t hear the recorded voice. Normally thoroughly enjoy tours recommended by Trip Advisor. Cannot say this about this tour.

It’s not a two hour tour....
It’s not a two hour tour. Ours was 1 1/2 hours, and that included a 10 minute detour to pick up others at the train station. Our driver skipped our last stop (a 10 minute walk by an old guard tower and a park near the river). It would have been nice to drive by the zoo.

I am trying to understand what happened. The tour normally lasts a full two hours. We will check the GPS coordinates and discuss your tour with the driver. I regret that the tour was cut short.

A Great Introduction to Basel! 🚌🇨🇭
A great way to see Basel and get familiar with the city! I enjoyed being able to sit back, relax, and see so many of the sights in a short amount of time. Perfect for a first-time visitor who wants a good overview of Basel. 🇨🇭

Buyer beware and triangulate your sources.
I bought a ticket on this tour at the last minute. Viator's website said that you can pick up the tour at multiple points so I went to a location (which was wrong). The tour operator had different directions starting from a specific point but only listed on the ticket. So, I obviously missed the tour and they did not allow a refund. Just beware and triangulate your sources. In my view, it's Viator's error but they will only issue a refund if the tour operator offers it.

I regret that Viator labels this tour as "hop-on, hop-off." We cannot change that. However, the initial starting point is listed as Steinenberg 6. That information should also appear on the ticket. Send me a mail to m.trummer@busmiete.ch and we refund your ticketcosts. thank you for understanding.

old devices and poor performance
The driver drove fast, and didn't slow for any of the main sites! the connections are old, and our ear pieces wouldn't stay connected, that's if it worked at all!

This tour will drive you...
This tour will drive you ALL over Basel and you’ll see and get to learn about a LOT of Basel history. You’ll need the app or get headphones when you enter the bus and listen to the info as you drive - it automatically updates to each new location and is very informative. The bus is hot in summer, and it is really more or less two hours inside a bus, but it was a great way for us to see some sights of Basel in the short time we had in the city.

Good way to see Basel
This is an excellent way to see the best sites in Basel. The tour is leisurely with a couple of stops for photos and stretching your legs. The commentary was very well in sync and easy to hear. The driver was excellent and fixed a problem with commentary player, and did not rush the people at stops. Overall a great experience and well worth it with the Basel card discount.
