My wife and I went to the specified location 15 minutes early. No tour guide was evident. We were not notified in any way of changes. Very disappointing, and we will certainly seek a refund. A waste of our time.

Salma was super informative! She catered to what we wanted to see and gave us great information about the city and places to eat!! This was a great introduction to the city to start our vacation!!
Four of us booked the Historical Old Town Walking Tour of Basel with Tours of Switzerland for Monday, August 17. We arrived at the Kunstmuseum at 8:55 AM for our 9:00 AM tour, but no guide ever arrived. We waited until 9:30 AM, and despite multiple phone calls and emails, we received absolutely no response. It has now been two days, and the company still has not contacted us to explain or apologize. They ruined our entire morning in Basel. We have already contacted our credit card company to dispute the charge. Save yourself the disappointment and hassle; do not book with them.
We received confirmation of our booking and e-tickets, but then the guide didn’t show. It turned out the tour had been canceled in the mean time and the email went to Junk so we missed it. The email said the tour was rebooked for the next day. We were only in town for the day. We’re now hoping they provide the refund we asked for.
Horrible to say the least because it did not happen. The tour was canceled at a short notice. We had shortened our stay at a museum to join this tour
The tour time was changed from 2pm to 945 am. I replied that I could not make that time. Didn’t seem to matter. The only response I have gotten is that they notified me of the meeting time and it was confirmed which it was definitely not. Then I was told they waited for me, which is unfortunate because I wasn’t even in the country at that time and would not have shown up even if they called me, which they did not. So far no refund and not very happy with the situation.
Good morning, we had a delay because we got lost and we could not contact either the operator or the guide; there is no information and the guide did not contact us
No guide showed up. I checked with a local that there was only one fountain next to the museum so I knew we were in the right place. Since we had no walking tour we went to the history museum instead. The history museum was good.
