Wonderful experience with amazing views and wines. Highly recommend for a relaxing tour and get some knowledge of the valley. Started early, but they stopped about an hour into the drive for 15mins for us to grab a coffee and a pastry, had an amazing chocolate croissant.

Louis was super nice and a great tour guide. Lunch was lovely and the port wine was delicious! Yolanda at the winery was a highlight of the tour as well. She taught us so much!

Excellent attention to detail, great explanation of the Douro valley. Luiz and Shaella were excellent guides/drivers. Highly recommend as a day trip out of Porto if you have a day to spare.

Tour guide and driver were great. The tour itself was not as advertised - essentially running in reverse with our first stop being port and lunch before 11am. The “local” lunch spot was very touristy with a lot of tables set up ready for tour buses, and you are rushed in and out within 50 minutes. We were told we could buy drinks and snacks on the Douro boat tour but that wasn’t the case. The boat was a bit crowded - with a bunch of other tours piled onto the same boat. The two tasting experiences were generally good.

Visited small local wineries that offered delicious wine and lunch. Learned a lot about the Douro Valley and enjoyed chatting with all the folks involved. The views were incredible as well and worth the ride!

Luis and Alejandro did a really good job. Only problem was that lunch was served too early and drinking port at the first stop meant you didn't quite appreciate it as much as you should. Would much prefer to have done the tour the other way around. - start at the winery then the river cruise and finish with the food and port

Among the best-structured tours I have been on. Two wineries, including an excellent lunch, and a river cruise. Our guide, Luis, and our driver, Alejandro, were excellent. A great day.

From our ten day stay in Portugal, there are places I’d recommend to future travelers and places I wouldn’t. The experience with travel guide Luis and bus driver Sebastián provided an absolutely amazing experience of Douro Valley. The bus ride from Porto to the Valley and back was pleasant and relaxing. Luis’ knowledge of the area was fantastic! We met several amazing people from around the world on this tour experience and had many laughs together over port samplings from the region. The entire experience was wonderful and I wouldn’t hesitate to encourage anyone looking for a day trip to the area to considering it.
