Dette er den bedste måde at lære at kende den overraskende og travle gadekunst scene i Athen. Du vil lære, hvordan de socioøkonomiske faktorer og krisen har påvirket bykulturen og de lokale kunstnere i de sidste år. Du vil se en masse gadekunst, der er forbundet med både fortiden og den aktuelle situation, og forstå, hvor mange af kunstnerne der blev påvirket, og hvad hver arbejdsgruppe repræsenterer. Du vil også have mulighed for at udforske forskellige distrikter og up-and-coming områder i Athen, mens du blander med lokalbefolkningen. Vi starter turen i livlige Monastiraki, hjemsted for nogle af byens mest ikoniske vægmalerier. Det er den perfekte introduktion til Athens pulserende street art scene.
Beliggende i hjertet af den historiske Psirri, er denne atmosfæriske torv omgivet af modige og farverige vægmalerier - hver fortæller en historie om byens urbane sjæl.
Udforsk et af Athens mest kreative kvarterer, der er fyldt med graffiti-dækkede mure, hyggelige taverner og buzzende caféer. Dette er et gatekunstelskers paradis med endeløse fotoops.
I Omonoia vil vi opdage nogle af Athens ældste og mest legendariske vægmalerier - kraftfulde stykker, der har stået tidens prøve i hjertet af byen.
Vi samler os i Metaxourgeio, et af Athens mest trendy og kunstneriske kvarterer. Her møder banebrydende gadekunst en dynamisk lokal stemning - en inspirerende afslutning på turen.

Katarina was amazing!!! Friendly, engaging, pleasant, professional, warm, and obviously very experienced! She was incredibly knowledgeable and I learned so much. She was very patient answering all my questions. She was quite accommodating and went out of her way to show me some street art I asked about. I especially appreciate that she showed up for the tour, even though I was the only participant. She is committed! I highly recommend this tour!
The perfect mix of walking and stopping to explore the fabulous street art hidden in plain site. Penelope was a wonderful guide who knew her stuff- a nice mix of folklore, history and artist information and background. We did this tour the day we arrived in Athens and it was a nice way to get acclimated.
I love art so I was excited to participate on this street art excursion. Penelope was our guide and she was friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. We saw some amazing art, learned about the artists and history, and got to go off the beaten path which I really enjoyed. This was a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend it.
Lots of information and interesting stories. I was great to visit further neighborhoods that tourists usually omit. It could last even 30 min longer to cover more art works . Worth to recommend. I just wish the price was lower
Anyone who comes to Athens will notice the graffiti tagging however this tour tells you the full history and shows loads of amazing work done by street artists. The tour very much surpassed my expectations, it has been the highlight of my trip to Athens! 😄 My tour guide was fantastic, super friendly and also had a deep knowledge of all the murals and their history and meaning.
The street-art tour was really a surprise. Thanks to our enthusiastic guide, we got a wonderful insight into the stories behind the artworks and their place in the history of Athens. An inspiring walk and absolutely recommended!
I really enjoyed my street art tour with Penelope. She had great background knowledge about all the pieces she showed me and was very passionate about the subject. We went also to places that were less touristic, so it was nice to see also the normal neighbourhoods. I participated in street art tours in different cities and this was definetely one of the bests I ever had.

Superduper tour! Penelope is very knowlegeable and tells you so much about the art and the street murals. She is enthousiastic and funny. You see a whole other side of Athens! We loved it!!!
We did 3 great tours in Greece - but this was the best. Penelope had high energy, a skill at leading a group, passion and a depth of knowledge around the subject matter, and of course the street art was stunning. We walked through a few neighborhoods - and learned some about the more recent history of the city. It was a great context after hearing about the very ancient history on other days. She was prepared and had other images to help us understand the artists work and role in graffiti across the world. It was fascinating. I’ve done 2 other street art tours (berlin and Buenos Aires) - but this was the best.
