Our guide Ilia’s was amazing. He clearly knew all the history of the area and the traditional foods snd eateries. He was very friendly and professional and he is clearly well know by the cafes/restaurant staff. All in all a great tour and I would highly recommend.

My family (including 3 teenagers) just spent 2 weeks in the Greek Islands. In the way back through Athens, we wanted to get a true sense of Greek food and to learn more about Athens from a local - it was amazing. Maria knows so much about the city and the stories behind each of the many Greek foods that we tried. She made it interesting for my wife and me, but more importantly, kept my kids engaged throughout. A true highlight of our trip.

Ilias, our guide, Introduced us some delicious Greek food and drinks through a walking tour in the city of Athens. We tasted different items from breakfast to dinner and some local alcohol. We ended up eating some delicious Greek ice cream with mastic.

Very easy to book. Confirmation was clear on where/when to meet. Met our guide, Ilias, as we approached the meeting point. He was in place early to meet everyone. Ilias made the food tour! He was our “host” in every sense of the word - gracious, open, generous, charming. He learned all of our names (10). Ilias brought us to established and excellent providers. We sampled and learned Greek historical facts about each food/drink - coffee, ouzo, bread, fish, meats, pies, ice cream, honey and so much more. Do not fail to take this food tour (arrive HUNGRY) and I hope Ilias is your guide/host.

It was a really nice tour with Nik. He told us quite a bit about the various dishes. Even when it suddenly started raining very hard and we could no longer go to the last restaurant because of it, he had a plan B for us. Really recommended

We had a great experience on this food tour with our guide, Ilias. He was warm, funny, entertaining and very engaging! We were a family of 3 generations and he maintained excellent rapport with all of us. Ilias was a great tour guide, giving us local background while introducing us to the proprietors of the venues (he seems to be friends with all the restaurateurs in Athens).
