Dette besøg kombinerer en vandretur gennem det historiske centrum af Arequipa, lærer om dets historie, nogle af dets vigtigste turiststeder og kombinerer det i slutningen med smagningen og forklaringen af vores nationale destillat, Pisco. Vi smagte også nogle lokale frugter og vores emblematiske dessert, frossen ost. En anderledes måde at lære Arequipa at kende på spansk og engelsk (på fransk er det også muligt, men med forudgående koordinering)
Det traditionelle kvarter Arequipa, det første sted, hvor erobrerne slog sig ned ved deres ankomst til området.
Før vi ankommer til dette sted, passerer vi klostret Santa Catalina og gaden af samme navn, på Plaza de San Francisco sætter vi pris på den imponerende struktur i kirken såvel som Fundo el Fierro håndværkscenter.
Mødet vil blive afholdt på dette sted, efter de tidligere indikationer, det begynder med at tale om grundlaget for byen, den forandring, den har lidt over tid på grund af jordskælv, katedralen og andre detaljer, der fremkalder memory arms square.
På den ene side af Plaza de Armas ligger det gamle kompleks af Jesu kompagni. Kirken og Klostrene. Kirken skiller sig ud for sin barokke facade, sit sobre interiør og altre dækket af bladguld.
Et af de mest varierede og interessante markeder, der findes i Peru. Et ideelt sted at se de produkter, der tilbydes i regionen, knolde, kød, frugter, blandt andre.
Tidligere klostre af jesuiterskolen og klosteret. Det bedste eksempel på religiøs vicekongelig arkitektur i byen.

The tour was excellent! We got to know part of the city in a personalized way. My little girl loved the little alpacas 🩷 it's a shame that because of the national holidays we didn't make it in time for the ice cream cheese. My congratulations to Ms. Jessica for her professionalism and kindness.
I had a great time and a lot more about Arequipa than I was expecting. We visited the Llama museum where I learned a lot about Llamas and other Camel species, as well as about pre incan civilizations. Really enjoyed getting in-depth information about the food in the market and the history of Arequipa. Daniel really did a fantastic job. He was great.
We had a wonderful time with Jose : he really knows the city well and told us great anecdotes about the city. The market visit was our highlight: we tried different fruits and meals and kids absolutely loved it! I definitely recommend the tour.
Juan our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable . The tour took a little longer than he planned because I was suffering a knee injury. He did not rush and gave me plenty of opportunities to rest.
Daniel was enthusiastic and very informative. He answered all our questions anout a wide range of subjects and helped us shop at the market. He clearly loves his pisco and we had a great time interacting with him! The pic is of my favorite pisco

Jose was a great tour guide. We visited the local market and sampled many fruit I hadn’t seen before, plus “stuffed potato” and the famous Queso Helado. We also walked around many of the lovely colonial era streets and learnt about the history of Arequipa. The 3 hour tour ended with a Pisco tasting which was also very interesting.
Such a great afternoon with a brilliant and interesting guide! We discovered new streets and alleys and lots about history, culture etc. Do this!
