1 adult and 2 teenage boys ages 13 & 15, was one of the highlights of the trip for the sense of adventure, unique experience, jungle environment, and fun guides! Variety of types of rappelling kept it interesting. We watched YouTube videos of the two big companies to compare and the boys thought this one looked cooler. Communication via Whatsapp leading up to the trip was very efficient and answered all questions very quickly! We had one younger child back out at the last minute and they were extremely kind and understanding about it and fast to do a refund. I liked that there were multiple time slots to pick from. Pick up and drop off was efficient. Meal provided delicious. Kids were exhausted after this though and were happy to come home and relax and not have to go onto another tour.
100/10 As someone who is afraid of heights I can truly say this was an unbelievable experience. All of the guides were enthusiastic, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. If you trust the equipment and the guides you will have a great time. After the most adrenaline filled morning ever there is fresh fruit, clean bathrooms, and a great meal. The photographer was also great and buying the package is a MUST. Even if you have your own camera, phone with water proof cover, or go pro, you don’t know all the timing and angles like the guides do. If you have glasses make sure you got goggles. Make sure you eat light beforehand. I highly recommend this experience, unbeatable for the price.
This was the best adventure in the Costa Rica rainforest. Rudy and Myron were our guides and were great. Thank you! We can’t wait to come back.
This tour/ activity was as cool as it sounds! We got to repel down 5 different repels, 3 of which involved waterfall / water aspect! So fun! It is extremely safe as well, with a hands on crew that are both helpful and knowledgeable about the activity! Would recommend to anyone looking for a unique adventure in La Fortuna! They even serve you a very delicious lunch beforehand

A fun experience of repelling down a cliff by a beautiful waterfall and jumping from a few cliffs up to 10 meters. The tour guides are great, safe, fun and positive! However, this trip took too long for my family. We were in the van for twice as long as the actual tour, from our beautiful resort. We would have much rather had more time exploring and enjoying our resort, instead of being in a car for so long. If you do book this tour, please confirm pick up time and how long it will take to your destination. I asked as soon as I got on the bus and the guide told me 40 minutes, it took over 2 hours. . My 3 star rating is mostly based upon how long this journey takes compared to how long the actual tour is.
Thank you for your comments. I would like to acknowledge that you actually loved this adventure and we are at happy to know this. Also you had expressed to our guides that you were upset about the drive time of your whole planned vacation. And as you see from all the comments this is an amazing experience, in such a special canyon as you say in your comments. Wonderful adventures can take some time to drive to. We are very clear on our website with the drive time. There are also things out of our control like clients that are also attending the adventure that might be running a bit late. It takes about 45 minutes from La Fortuna. As i appreciate your comments it would been wonderful and helpful if you would have reviewed the adventure and not how long the drive took. River rafting can take up to 3 hours just to get to the river. And it is also worth every second of the drive through the countryside of Costa Rica . As it is with the beautiful drive to our magical canyon at Rainforest Falls. I hope you and your family were able to find the beauty in this magnificent country and enjoyed fully the rest of your time in Costa Rica
My family of 8 was delighted w this tour and company!! They were patient w us older ones and super great w our teens and 20’s. They went above and beyond in service And friendliness- we all had a blast!! We felt safe and welcomed at all times and we can’t wait to go canyoning w them tomorrow:). I also recommend that you get the pictures - the photographer is incredible, friendly and really gets everything!!

You each have your personality and strengths and work together as a team to ensure we enjoyed and stayed safe! The trip was exactly as described and more as we were the only people on the trip. Lunch back in the office was super tasty too! Pure trek, you have an amazing team!
We loved this experience so much. My partner and I wanted a little more adventure in our trip, and this did not disappoint. We ended up being the only guests with our guides, and Mauricio, Alberto, Enrique and everyone made the trip truly special. The trip is exactly as described in terms of what they take you on, but because our group was so small we got to do things more than once. It’s truly wonderful to go someplace and feel your guides having as much fun as you. We are climbers, and the gear at PureTrek was all very professional and equipment we use at home. We felt safe and taken care of the entire time. The fact that you get fresh fruits and a meal at the end is such a nice touch. They also pick you up at your accommodations. Mauricio even showed us some insects and plants on the walk back from the water. This was well worth what we paid. We highly recommend this tour, it has been the highlight of our trip so far and an incredible memory.

Absolutely incredible experience on the Rainforest Falls Tour! Family of 4 (parents, 20 year old son and 13 year old daughter). Booking it during the “rainy” season meant we had the tour completely to ourselves. Our guides were amazing - kind, patient, energetic, funny, just the absolute best. We felt very well cared for and safe the entire trip. If you are looking for an adventure that will take you outside your comfort zone this is it! And booking with Pure Trek will not disappoint. We cannot recommend this adventure enough - just do it!!!!!
