My wife and I booked a private Alpine Food Tour from Zurich with Swissxplorers during our honeymoon, and it was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. Fabian was a knowledgeable, warm, and overall stellar guide! He was genuinely passionate about sharing Switzerland’s hidden gems with us. He brought us to TWO stunning scenic waterfalls! One of which was nestled in a beautiful, secluded Swiss town where Fabian prepared delicious local Swiss foods for my wife and I. Throughout the tour, Fabian answered all our many questions with great insight and made the experience feel personal, relaxed, and unforgettable. This was by far the most informative, delicious, and memorable part of our honeymoon! We cannot recommend Swissxplorers highly enough!

Fabian was a great guide. The raclette and the mountain barbecue were amazing, high quality food, a beautiful mountain setting, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Nothing felt touristy at all. The views were incredible and the waterfalls were amazing. You can really feel Fabian’s passion and local knowledge. A true highlight of our trip and highly recommended.

Our day in the Swiss Alps was an incomparable experience, which was especially enriched by the culinary highlights. Fabian and Christina prepared an exquisite picnic with cheese and meat specialties from their own farm – everything tasted fresh, authentic and of the highest quality. It was a unique moment to enjoy raclette in the open air in the impressive mountain landscape. Surrounded by waterfalls, cows and goats, there was a harmonious combination of nature experience and lived Swiss tradition.

The scenery was absolutely stunning, green meadows, cows peacefully grazing, and waterfalls that looked like a postcard. Fabian and Christina created such a warm and personal atmosphere that it felt more like visiting friends than joining a tour. The food was incredible: raclette cooked outdoors, plus generous cheese and charcuterie boards straight from their farm. Everything tasted so fresh, local, and full of flavor. What makes this tour truly special is the authenticity , nothing staged, just real Swiss hospitality and passion for what they do. It’s rare to find such a genuine experience that combines nature, culture, and food so perfectly. Highly recommended!
