Thoroughly enjoyable day with a wonderful, friendly and experienced guide. We heard about many parts of history - just enough to be valuable but not too much to become boring. Wine tasting was a joyous experience
This was canceled the day before the tour, leaving us with nothing to do on that day :( We booked and paid months ago. They did ask me a month before the trip if we would change our day, but I explained that we had plotted our hotels and train tickets especially around this event. They said they would keep it confirmed but then canceled the day before. Shame on you for doing this to people.
Bonjour Anna_M, We are truly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the cancellation of your tour, especially as you had planned your accommodation and train travel around this experience. As stated in our booking conditions, our tours require a minimum of two participants to operate. When a booking is made for one person, our reservations team always does its best to find an alternative, including checking whether the customer is willing to change the date or whether another participant books the same tour. In your case, our team contacted you in advance to discuss the possibility of changing the date, precisely in an effort to avoid a last-minute cancellation. We fully understand that changing your plans was not possible due to your hotel and train arrangements. Unfortunately, when the minimum number of participants is not reached, the tour may have to be cancelled. We regret that we were ultimately unable to operate the tour on the confirmed date. We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused. This was certainly not our intention, and we always do our best to avoid cancellations and provide suitable alternatives whenever possible. Thank you for your understanding. Carole The Ophorus Team
A great day. Our driver/guide was wonderful. Great history facts and fun conversation. The two towns were beautiful and Anne of Domain Duffau was a delightful guide through her vineyards and the tastings.
Met our host Sonia as arranged & had a wonderful day out in the comfort of an air conditioned vehicle on a very hot day. Highlight for us was the wonderful wine tasting with the proprietor, took a bottle back to the hotel 👍
A very pleasant and informative day. Our guide Sonya was lovely and very helpful. We would highly recommend this.
Sonja was an excellent guide. And the places we visited were amazing. Highly recommend!
Fun time, our guide was very knowledgeable of the regions… the only thing is the wine tour was fast and didn’t explain much about the vines nor the region. The winery owners were lovely.
Amelie was fantastic. During the one hour drive to Albi she perfectly captured the history of the area from the Roman times to Louis IVX, which provided a tremendous amount of context to the day in general. That history and perspective that she provided all the way through our wine tasting at the end of the day really gave a complete experience. The three locations on this tour are great intros to the Tarn region in France.
This was an absolutely wonderful experience. I would recommend it to everybody. Emilie is a great guide who provides a lot of useful and interesting information. Very well organized and pleasant trip. Thanks!!!
We are so glad we took this tour. Our guide Amelée was superb! We got so much history told in a very interesting way. Albi was the highlight. Cordes sur Ciel was gorgeous and the wine tasting was lovely as it was not in any way rushed. All in all we had a lovely time and would highly recommend the tour.
