Alex runs a great tour that gives you a good summary of Toulouse’s history and connects it all to its food. We really enjoyed ourselves , and all the food and wine. This tour is the best way to start a visit to Toulouse

Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. Throughout the tour, he shared six main stories, each of which was captivating and thoughtfully connected to the history of Toulouse. He also drew our attention to small details and places we would otherwise have simply walked past, without ever imagining what had taken place there or understanding their significance. The way he connected the food to each story and location was particularly clever, while still showing great respect for the history behind them. It made the experience feel much more meaningful than a typical food tour. Truly a must-do if you are visiting Toulouse. It is a relaxed, leisurely experience and a wonderful way to spend the morning, especially during the summer when the heat has not yet reached its peak.

A fantastic tour blending together the fascinating history and the amazing food of Toulouse. If there is one thing you do while visiting it is this tour! After gaining knowledge of the area and some of the best spots I re-visited some of the stops several times (especially the macaroon place!) restaurant recommendations were very welcome and I got chance to visit several and none disappointed! Thank you again for a fabulous tour and some delicious food!

If you're hesitating, book this experience! We had a small group (3 people) and Alex is so personable and easy to talk to that this experience felt like having a friend who knows the area well showing you around. The stories were fascinating, the foods were delicious, and both were varied enough that it was engaging the entire time. We were so glad we booked this tour so early in the trip. The insights about Toulouse history and architecture were so rewarding to be able to notice and appreciate after this tour, plus he had some excellent ideas for activities and restaurants for us to check out while we're here that we've added to our plans.

Highly recommend this tour and guide. Alex was a great host for our tour. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the foods and the city history. It was an easy walk and a filling experience. This was such a unique and wonderful experience! My husband and I were traveling through the city for several days and love to do a historical walking tour – bonus, combine it with food foods of the city. This one was extra special because Alex, our guide and the business owner, was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Toulouse and also as a chef, really understood the best dishes to highlight. As we walked, he told us fascinating stories about the city’s history—and the way he then tied it back to a particular local dish was really clever and unique. Highly recommend this tour—you won’t be disappointed!
