Vores madvandring handler om at opleve lokal mad, folk, historie og tradition. & vi kan ikke vente med at vise dig vores by!

We enjoyed this tour immensely. We tasted lamb soup, Icelandic hot dogs, cod with date sauce and herb sauce, and local ice cream. Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable (she grew up there, left for a while, and came back) and the restaurant staff was extremely welcoming. Our guide shared her own experiences and local history and information as we walked. This was a great way to spend some time. The meeting location is an easy walk from the cruise terminal as well.
Great little food tour! The food was great with good portions. Fish soup, hot dog, lamb filet, and ice cream! Our guide was very knowledgeable and a delight. Highly recommend
Lamb soup was tasty Hot dog was okay Cod dish was truly wonderful Ice cream was iced milk. Guide was fun to be with, knew the town well and was enjoyable.
This tour was terrific! The food was superb, the walk and scenery were pleasant, but the best part was our guide, Saga. She answered all of our questions, told us stories and was very informative. Five stars!!

We had the best food walk experience with Arndis as our guide. She was so personable and knowledgeable of the area and food. We thoroughly enjoyed each stop and the variety of tastings. Arndis was able to answer our questions about the area and Icelandic traditions that we were curious about. It was a beautiful day and we would 100% recommend!
From the very start of this food tour you’ll be entertained and informed by Dagur! Be prepared to be escorted to the best foodie stops in Akureyri. Come with an appetite as you’ll enjoy a wonderful 5 course meal.
Dagur was our guide, born and raised in Akureyri. Not only did he introduce us to classic delicious Icelandic staples, he related lots of fun Icelandic lore about Christmas and growing up in Akureyri. Highly recommended by my wife and I who have done lots of foodie tours all over the world.
Great food stops. Guide was special. He is starting up a new business and at the moment he is a one man show. But not a rookie as he has years of experience with food tours he hosted in Reykjavik.
It was more of a dining experience than a walk. Also logical that it is only a small place. Tagurrrrrrr 😉 is an enthusiastic guide with beautiful stories and info about Iceland. Due to the cancellation of a participating eatery, the guide immediately came up with another solution. The food was delicious!
