Ben was a great host and was very versed in Hungarian wine. We ended up coming back to the shop the next day to buy a couple of bottles of what we had sampled. Charcuterie selections were amazing as well. This was a fun way to start our trip in Budapest as we felt more knowledgeable selecting wines at restaurants during our stay.
Tamas is a vintner and so knowledgeable about Hungarian wines and wine growing regions. Our charcuterie plates were perfect complements to the delicious wines we tasted. He shared history and both wine and culinary expertise with us. We highly recommend this sophisticated experience!

Though billed as a „Premium“ tasting, I’m afraid we were a bit disappointed with some of the selections. The wines just seemed average, especially the reds. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable setting and pleasant wine host.

If you are looking for a friendly but very professional wine tasting experience, you’ll find it here. I always schedule a tasting here whenever I visit Budapest. The vast selection of wines and the broad knowledge base of the sommeliers will not disappoint. If you’ve never tasted Hungarian wines, be prepared for a unique experience. There are so many indigenous grapes in Hungary. You’ve never heard of many of them but they will impress you. If a fun, friendly, intelligent evening is in your plans this is the place. Not to be missed. Highly recommended.
What an interesting wine tasting! A map showing the wine growing regions, a lot of information and thoughtfulness from the guide, and really interesting Hungarian tastes complemented the tasting perfectly. I can't remember a more informative and fascinating tasting. This was such a wonderful and educational evening.
We loved everything about this experience. A small group of people in a cozy environment with an expert host imparting his vast knowledge of the regional wines. The cheese and local meats were a perfect accompaniment. Thankyou for a memorable evening

Great evening in a lovely venue learning about the history and wine making expertise across Hungary and sampling several excellent wines from various regions. Have enjoyed this experience twice and very likely to repeat for a third time when I next return to visit Budapest.
