What a perfect day, our guide, Susan was outstanding, she is a so a friendly and professional and funny person. We visited all the great highlights of Budapest, however it was a rainy day she did her best to make great photos. We would highly recommend this tour!
We spent the Christmas holiday in Budapest and I booked this tour for my husband as a surprise. It was a great choice we loved every minute. Etyek city is only a short drive from Budapest, the wine cellar visit was amazing. Our guide, Susan was very friendly and informative. The traditional Hungarian dinner was so tasty and we had lots os fun with the sommelier. To see the evening the lights from the Danube river was breathtaking!
Unfortunately, our experience on the Budapest Dinner Danube Cruise fell short of expectations, particularly because it was meant to be a celebration of our 39th anniversary. Budapest itself is a beautiful city that we enjoyed immensely, but this dinner cruise left us disappointed. We had specifically requested a table by the window to savor the views, but upon arrival, we were assigned a table at the back next to a stack of chairs. To make matters worse, the light above our table was not working, which detracted from the ambiance even further. We reached out to the crew for assistance, but unfortunately, they were dismissive and did nothing to address the issue. While the sights of Budapest along the Danube are breathtaking, our special night was marred by poor service and negligence. We hope the company considers improving their customer service and attention to detail in future.
Dear Guests, we sent you several emails to your tripadvisor account asking to move this review to the company you really used. We have never got any replies. YOU NEVER USED OUR SERVICES AS WE DO NOT SELL DINNER CRUISES WITH CANDELIT DINNER. I kindly ask you to check your cruise voucher to add it to the company you used. I asked you and tripadvisor several times to remove this review, that DOES NOT BELONG TO OUR COMPANY. I kindly ask you to check carefully next time where you add your posts as we work hard to provide excellent services and now you mislead our future guests with your incorrect review. I kindly ASK YOU AGAIN to contact tripadvisor asap to make the arrangements accordingly, this is unacceptable. Thank you for your cooperation.
This was a fabulous tour! Etyek is a short ride from Budapest, our guide, Nora was funny, friendly and she costumized the trip according to our needs. The wine cellar visit is a must, the sommelier was very informative. The dinner place was great, the host was very amazing. The evening cruise is unforgettable!!
