It was a wonderful and very memorable 5 days tour from June 20 - June 24. Blessed with good weather, we were impressed by the blue and crystal clear sky and the mountains towering like skyscrapers. The tour was well organized and provided with elaborate service ◦ support. We will definitely recommend it to our friends. ⚫︎Thanks to the guides, Nilton and Erick for their professional leadership. ⚫︎Thanks to the chefs for providing delicious food. ⚫︎Thanks to the support team members for their dedicated support. ⚫︎Thanks to the administration staff who supported us from booking the tour to before the tour departure. ⚫︎And, many thanks to the tour guest members. For us who are somewhat elderly, it was a series of hard work from the first day. We walked at a much slower pace than the walking pace of the tour guest members. Nilton and/or Eric followed us from behind at our pace as we walked at the end. They gave us a great sense of safety. On the second day, they also suggested the option of using horses to climb the super difficult place. After that, they made suggestions that suited us. Then we were able to finish the 5-day tour. The tour guest members were all very friendly, caring and encouraging us. It's a pity to think that we don't have a chance to meet anymore. The chefs were providing a very delicious meal in the morning, noon, and evening. Especially at the moment I drank the soup served every time, I was relieved and my tired body was healed. Carrying luggage, coca tea for waking up in the morning, warm water for hand and face washing, setting up the dining table, I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone in the support team who gave us a lot of support for us to enjoy trekking. They were hard workers, waked up earlier than us, going to bed later than us. Finally, we conclude this review with the utmost gratitude.(Y & T)

The Salkantay Trek was undoubtedly an impressive adventure, but it truly became extraordinary thanks to the wonderful group of participants and the outstanding team of guides, cooks, and porters. First, I would like to praise all three guides who did an excellent job during the tour. On the third day, our group was split, and we were lucky to be accompanied by David. David was simply exceptional and exceeded our expectations in every way. With his warm personality, humor, and infectious enthusiasm, he made each day something special. He was not just a guide, but also a companion, motivator, and friend. With his exciting stories and the passion with which he spoke about Peru, he truly allowed us to immerse ourselves in the culture and traditions of the country. David did not simply accompany this tour – he made it an unforgettable experience that will remain in our memories forever. A similarly great compliment is due to the chefs. What they accomplished day after day under the demanding conditions along the trek was simply incredible. The quality, variety, and presentation of the meals were at a level that many restaurants can hardly achieve. After hours of hiking, we were surprised each time with fantastic food and kept asking ourselves how such dishes were even possible in the middle of the mountains. We were particularly impressed by the many loving details that went far beyond what was expected. Hot water bottles for the cold nights, a cozy campfire under the starry sky, and marshmallows to roast created unforgettable moments and showed how much dedication the team has for its guests. My greatest respect also goes to the porters. Their daily performance is hardly expressible in words. They perform physically demanding work under challenging conditions and always ensure that everything runs smoothly. Without their commitment, such a tour would not be possible. Their hard work, professionalism, and endurance deserve the highest recognition. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for this unique experience. The Salkantay Trek was not just a hike for me, but an adventure full of special encounters, impressive experiences, and unforgettable memories. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

The most incredible experience ever! I wouldn’t have made it without our guides Roger and Rodry, they were really helpful and so kind! They made sure everyone was doing good. The chef Beltran made a buffet for every meal and the food was delicious. The porters were really helpful helping us with our bags. Overall it was really good organized and a great experience everyone should try!

It was a beautiful experience, organized in every detail by prepared, competent, and kind individuals. Nothing was ever lacking, from food to assistance in any circumstance. Of our guides, a special mention goes to David, who made our trekking unforgettable, being much more than just a guide but also a friend and travel companion. For the rest, magnificent landscapes and beautiful people with whom to share these days.

The whole 5 day trek was a great experience, would definitely recommend it not only for seeing Maccu Piccu but for the breathtaking views along the way as well. The whole experience was very well organised, and there were lots of small touches that really made the trip (like smores by the fire, hot coca tea every morning and Trexperience organising a taxi back at Cusco to ensure we made our flight). Special thanks to the guides, chefs and porters. Couldn’t believe how good the food was in such remote areas (you’re a magician Santos). All of the guides were great, but David deserves a particular shout-out for playing a big role in making this a fun trip!

This 5-day Salkantay trek was incredibly well organised and the support staff (horsemen, porters, chefs) ensured everything ran smoothly - the food was fantastic and plentiful, impressive considering the challenging logistics. The briefing the day before we started was very helpful and allowed the opportunity to ask any final questions before setting off. I did this with a friend, and we're agreed that the wider group made things very fun. The landscape throughout the trek is awesome, going from rocky mountain passes to green forests, with a particular highlight being the view of Machu Picchu from the campsite on the third night. The hotel on the last night was super nice, and very welcome after hiking for four days! Getting to see Machu Picchu on the last day was the cherry on top of an amazing experience. From what I have heard from others on my travels, this package is good value as it includes the Machu Picchu entrance fee and the panoramic train ticket. Particular praise has to be given to our main guide for the 5-day trek, David. He was not only an informative and helpful guide, but he was such a good laugh and the group consensus was that he made the trip what it was. Thank you David, this trek has been the top highlight of my 3-month travels so far - tupananchiskama gaffer!
