Turen starter på Vracar-plateauet, hvor du vil se et af de vigtigste seværdigheder, som Beograd har at tilbyde - Saint Sava-templet, den næststørste ortodokse kirke i hele Europa med fantastisk krypt og hovedkuppel fyldt med mosaikker. Vores guide vil fortælle historien om den første serbiske kongelige familie og den første serbiske ærkebiskop, der hedder Rastko Nemanjic. På samme plateau vil du også se statuen af Nikola Tesla, en af de største videnskabsfolk på alle tidspunkter, og bygningen af Nationalbiblioteket, der blev bygget under anden verdenskrig.
Turen fortsætter til Slavija-pladsen, opkaldt efter et af de ældste hoteller i Beograd, bygget i 1888. Dette er en af de største pladser i Beograd, hvor 7 gader krydser. Her vil vores guide fortælle dig fængslende historie om Beograd Phantom. Efter Slavija-pladsen fortsætter vi til King Milan Street og et mindre, men charmerende torv kaldet Flower Square med to vigtige kulturelle bygninger til serbiske. Den første er den jugoslaviske dramatheatre genopbygget i 2003, og den anden er Students Cultural Center, hvor den første rock and roll performance blev afholdt i Beograd.
Resavska gaden vil lede os til St. Mark Church, der ligger i næststørste park i Beograd kaldet Tasmajdan park. Mod hovedcentret passerer vi nogle vigtige statslige bygninger som det serbiske parlament, det gamle og det nye palads.
På vej til den vigtigste Republiktorget vil vi passere yderligere to mindre pladser ved navn Nikola Pasic-pladsen og Terazije-pladsen med det smukkeste hotel i Beograd, hotel "Moskva".
På Republic Square, som anses for at være det vigtigste mødested i selve byen, vil du se National Theatre, National Museum og monumentet dedikeret til en af de største serbiske herskere prins Mihail Obrenovic.
Bagefter tager vi en spadseretur gennem Knez Mihailova gade, hoved gå- og shoppingzone. Denne overfyldte og livlige gade vil føre os til Kalemegdan / Beograd fæstning.
Sidste stop vil være Kalemegdan fæstning, dominerende Beograd attraktion. Det anses for at være museet i fri luft bygget mellem 1. og 18. århundrede og belejret mere end 100 gange. Selve fæstningen er opdelt i Øvre og Nedre By, med mange attraktioner, fra romersk brønd, Nebojsa Tower, Militærmuseet til Victor Monument - hoved symbol på byen Beograd.

AMAZING INTRODUCTION TO BELGRADE My wife and I booked this private walking tour of Belgrade at the last minute due to a dropped ball by another tour operator. This turned out to be the best possible outcome and set an excellent tone at the start of our 5 days in Belgrade. Our Tour Guide was Nina, who is an exceptional guide with a happy personality and a deep knowledge of Belgrade, of Serbia and of the history of the Balkans. She tailored the pacing of the tour to allow us more time in St Sava Church and to explore to city and the fort. It was a memorable experience that led to us booking several more tours with Serbia Inspired Tours. Our visit to Belgrade would not have been so successful if we had not met Nina and her sister Jelena, (who is also a tour guide). My wife and I have traveled widely and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had exploring a city and country for the first time.

Nina was great. Very knowledgeable of not just Serbian history but also the greater Yugoslav history. We engaged in a lively discussion about current events and how the connection of past events led to today’s Serbia. Would highly recommend Nina.

Nina was really amazing... and Jelena from the office as well. Belgrade was not included in the regular agency tours we were offered, we decided to drive from Sarayevo and scheduled Zagreb as our last stop. The drive was DEFINITELY worth it. Belgrade is beautiful. The churches are astonishing, the fort a historic showcase, and Skalardija was enchanting.
