Going to Africa has been a lifelong dream of mine and finding the right person to lead the planning is critical. BooneSafaris is the company that we selected to take us to the incredible Masai Mara. Boone is a fantasic guide and source of knowledge. Our accommodations including food and spirits were top notch! We went on many "drives" and saw things we never thought we would see. It is so much better than watchcing Nat Geo! We watched a lion take down a wildebeest and 15 minutes later watched a huge herd cross the river complete with a croc attack. The adrenaline was definitely flowing!! We also watched a mama cheetah hunting and training her 4 cubs, a leopard and her 2 cubs playing, giraffes, elephants, warthogs, many different kinds of antelopes and a masaii village. There was incredible attention to detail and was great that Boone keeps his tour to max of 12 people - 4 per vehicle so everyone can see the action. OH! Did I mention that Boone is an incredible photographer as well? He takes photos throughout the trip and will share them with you. If you ever plan on going to Africa, I highly recommend that you start with Boone Safaris
I cannot recommend this company enough. They were very efficient and picked us up from the airport with no issues. Our tour guide was wonderful and he really went out of his way to make sure we got the best possible animal sighting and photographs. We saw all of the big five and so much more and they were so much closer than we expected. The accommodation was incredible and we enjoyed breakfast surrounded by the zebras in the Zebra plains camp which they offer. The food was really good too and we were left full everyday. We really felt like this was amazing value for money and I would highly recommend. Big thanks to our tour guide Lawi for making our trip so incredible! If you’re thinking of using this company, you won’t regret it.
From start to finish, this trip was incredible! We landed in Nairobi and walked straight out of the airport to be met by Johnathan and our driver, Noah. Over the next three days we visited Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara! Noah was so knowledgable about the huge range of animals that we were lucky enough to see and he also made it his mission to help us find the big 5- which we did! It was just incredible! Amazing trip, fantastic company and wonderful driver. Highly recommended 😊
