Trip of a lifetime. 4 days with delicious meals, great places to sleep, and the coolest trek you will ever do. Our tour guide Jhonny answered every question we had about the Incas, Peru, and just about everything else. He was super attentive to our needs and made the most of our trip. He hung out with us outside of the tour, told us stories, and guided us through the jungle like an expert. He is truly a skilled tour guide. Condetravel was super flexible with our accommodations, picking us up directly, housing our luggage, etc. Overall, the trip could not have gone any better. Condetravel and Jhonny especially, thank you for your hospitality and for the incredible adventure.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Machu Picchu which was jam packed full of fun activities, delicious food and lovely people. All of our accommodation was very nice and included such cool experiences. Our trip would not have been the same without our tour guide Jhimmy who was an absolute legend. We would definitely recommend this trek to anyone interested!!!
This trip was absolutely fantastic. The jungle trail version is so good it was really varied, I did cycling, rafting, zip lining and so stunning trekking. The food was really good, accommodation was lovely and Machu Picchu was breathtaking. We were only a group of 2 which was really lovely because it felt really personalised. Our guide Jhimmy was amazing he was knowledgeable and explained so much about the culture and history as we went along. He knew I was interested in medicine as a medical student so he also taught me about the local medicines. He was very organised so everything ran smoothly but was flexible enough that it never felt too rigid. He really went above and beyond and took some of the best photos I have ever had of me and the landscape as we went along, acting as my very own paparazzi which was great. This version of the trek felt really ethical as well as we stayed in local accommodation and ate a restaurants along the way it meant Jhimmy didn’t have to carry all of our stuff or wake up at 3am just to be prepared for us. It also meant we could give back to the local economy as we went along. Overall I felt really looked after and I couldn’t recommend this trek and guide more! Rafting This was an unexpected part of my trek but was so so fun. It’s an intense ride down rapids in a boat of around 6 people with a guide. You do need to paddle and paddle hard but it’s a really good adrenaline rush. The guides were super nice and they made the whole thing really fun. There are also extra staff in kayaks in case anyone needed extra help. They even provide towels at the end. Which is welcome as it’s a little chilly (I went 26th May 2025). Very much worth it and a really friendly team.
Our tour guide Jhimmy was Amazing! Looked after us above and beyond what is expected of a guide! We came in not very well prepared but he made sure we had what we needed and made the trip so much fun! A massive trek along the Inca trail, Machu Picchu amongst other things. We went off the beaten track to experience the local culture and food at its best!! Such an amazing experience!! Highly recommend for anyone!!!!
What an amazing tour - Jhimmy was FANTASTIC! We booked it through Alan Mallky Tours & he was INCREDIBLE also! So helpful & such a caring man! The whole trip was AMAZING!! Jhimmy took us through 4 big days, we were very well looked after! Food was great, big portions & local food. Be prepared for the JUNGLE! We were eating fruits fresh from the trees, holding bugs and learning lots about where we were. We then had Jhimmy take us on a very informative guided tour of Machu Picchu - we learnt so much & even though the weather wasn’t great that day, it was still a magical experience. Very grateful for Jhimmy’s wealth of knowledge during the whole trip & his respect for the land we were on, we felt very safe & had some great laughs!! We had a great little group!! One of the nights was spent at a beautiful eco lodge with a lovely man named Riccardo (another wonderful human) He makes his own coffee and took us through the whole process. It was wonderful! He even lit a fire for us to dry our very wet shoes from the bike ride earlier in the day (recommendation - bring two pairs of shoes incase it rains whilst you’re riding) With the fire he made, we roasted cocoa beans & coffee beans and he showed us how he grinds them with a special rock, we then got to drink the coffee we grinded the next morning at breakfast it was GREAT! The whole trip was amazing - our highlights were the zip lining across the river - was such a thrill !! & biking downhill for 30kms !! The biggest thank you to the wonderful humans who made this experience possible! We loved it !!!
Jhimmy was amazing! All the activities were fun :). Especially the bike ride was really cool: To see the landscape changing while you’re cycling down.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled you had such a great time, especially during the bike ride. We'll be sure to let Jhimmy know he made your experience special!
4 days through various experiences such as rafting, biking, zip line and trekking. Thorough the heights of the inca trail, to the exploration of the process of coffe anc coca uses and making to the walk through the jungle. Everything was done in details and taken care of. Jimmy's knowledge and patience really made it even better. I'm glad I ended up with them.
This experience was the best I have ever had in my life! The guide Katy was the best guide you could have: empathetic, local, cheerful and has a lot of experience! The activities are very fun: cycling with amazing views, rafting, zip lining, trekking, and many more. The hotels and food are very good. If you want to go to Machu Picchu with an unforgettable experience, do not hesitate to book the tour and ask for Katy! A tip: bring clothes for the heat! Most of the tour is inside the area, it is very hot!
My Girlfriend and I did this tour and it was amazing!! If you like adventure then this is the tour for you! The activities were unreal and so much fun! Special shout out to our tour guide eduardo who made the trip for us with his insightful local knowledge and general love for nature and the local area!
The guides and food were incredible. Without them this trip would have been impossible. The camping itself is basically glamming as far as backpacking is concerned, but the hiking is quite difficult.
