We had the opportunity to make the tour with Julius Cesar, very experienced and welcoming guide. Have the patience to guide us in the most tiring moments of the trail, always motivating, making the day light and fun.
Knowledgeable tour guides, helpful, genuine, they got us the routes we wanted. We got upgraded at no addational coat. Otilia visited us herself and saw us off at the airport.
The 2 day-Inca tour was wonderful. Our guide JC, made it amazing and complete, with all his stores about nature, history and culture. We highly recommend thus tour
We did the 2 day Inca Trail abbreviated tour with Wilbert and loved it! Wilbert is an excellent guide, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of Peruvian history and culture. He walked at our pace and took amazing photos and videos. On a separate note, coordinating the day before our departure with the office was a bit stressful as we hadn’t heard how to transmit payment or instructions until the night before. It took me having to reach out several times for information. Additionally, I would recommend getting travelers on an earlier train back to Ollantaytambo. There’s not much to do in Aguascalientes and we no longer had a hotel to go back to
Julius Caesar was a great guide who made Machupichu a very pleasant and unrepeatable experience
I just finished a 2 day excursion with Inkayni. We hiked the Incan trail and visited Machu Picchu with the absolute best tour guide, Ronald. He quickly became like a member of the family. His knowledge of and passion for Incan culture are unmatched. So much so that he turned my boys (12 and 14) in to history buffs. I am not a hiking enthusiast but tagged along on this trek for some quality time with the fam. At the end of the experience I can honestly say that I can't picture a better way to spend 2 days. It was a hard hike (especially Devil's staircase on day 2) but knowing Ronald was looking out for us made all the difference. He would remind us to drink water, take breaks, and was ready with a bandaid for scrapes. If I could give this tour a 6 star rating I would!
Our two-day trip to Machu Picchu was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and our guide Edwin made it absolutely unforgettable. This trip was especially meaningful because it was something my dad and I did together, and Edwin helped make it such a special memory for both of us. From the moment we met him, Edwin was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and culture of the region. Throughout the hike he shared fascinating stories about Machu Picchu and the surrounding Sacred Valley, and he patiently answered all of our questions. He also pointed out plants and wildlife along the trail that we would have completely missed on our own. The hike up the morning switchbacks was definitely challenging, but Edwin kept us motivated and encouraged every step of the way. His enthusiasm and positive energy made the experience even more memorable. Everything about the trip was perfectly organized—from our pickup and hotel stay to our drop-off at the end. We never had to worry about logistics and could simply enjoy the incredible scenery and experience. The restaurants we visited in Aguas Calientes were excellent and a wonderful part of the trip. Sharing this experience with my dad made it incredibly special, and having Edwin as our guide truly brought Machu Picchu to life for us. If you are planning a visit to Machu Picchu, I highly recommend this tour and especially Edwin as a guide. Edwin made this unforgettable place even more meaningful for us, and we are so grateful for the experience.
Good Guide Knows a lot of the environment and the Incaculture well organised
Great hike on the first day from km104 Ernesto was a brilliant tour guide for us, informative, knowlwdgeable and funny. Great English and allowed us to take the tour at our own pace. Nice hotel and restaurant for the welcome stop over in Aguas Calliante. Highly recommend!
We did the 2 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with Ernesto. We couldn’t have wisher for a better tour guide. Ernesto was so informative, made sure we were safe at all times and made our experience so much fun. We were picked up from our hotel at 4am and taken to the train station by a driver (who also kindly let us leave our bags on the van) we were also provided food/drinks for our hike. The train journey around 1 hour and then we met our tour guide. The start of the hike is flat for around 1 hour and then it gets pretty tough for about 2 hours. The rest of the journey is pretty flat. I would highly recommend Ernesto 🙂
