Johnny Boston was our tour guide and he was great! His charming personality, combined with the fascinating history of Boston, made for an entertaining ride that we'd do again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
Be careful when booking this if you are really wanting the old time hop on hop off trolley. It looks the same but is very different. Didn’t seem to have as many runny trolleys and not as many stops. Not always narrated

These hop on hop off tours are a great way to see a city and get around. The City View trolley tour was a lot of fun. I only wish they stayed open beyond 4:30 pm, like Old Town does (9pm).
Hi Jeff, Cityiew Trolleys is the latest running tour company in Boston, Old Tow 's last tour time is 4pm daily this year.

Our tour guide , Joey, was very helpful and knowledgeable of the city and history. We stayed on his bus for a complete tour and then changed to 2 others who were informative as well.
The trolley was a great way to explore the city! It allowed us to jump off at points of interest and then hop back on to the next stop and explore more of the city.
We could not get a hold of this company! No communication on where to start our journey. We had to pay for another hop on hop off! Throughout the day we saw one City View shuttle, the entire day. Asking for a refund because our tickets were not used.

Buyer beware ..if you purchase a 2-day pass Not until you validate the ticket are you told It's one round trip ..this is only stated in their literature for the one day ticket. so you have to get off at every stop for each day ..once you get back to stop one ..you're done!!! So if you found the tour driver interesting and wanted to stay on for the whole route .. when you get to stop one ..you're done . Also you just can't start at any stop need to start at stop one. Operators comment" you won't find a satisfaction guarantee anyplace on our website" Not a truer word could be spoken !

Our ticketing structure is designed to help us regulate capacity and prevent overcrowding, overflow, and long waiting times at our trolley stops. Although our prices are the lowest in Boston, we do offer an $18 upgrade that allows guests to take multiple trips throughout the day. Our brochures also provide a wealth of information to help guests determine which stops they may want to hop off at and explore. Additionally, we have created a complimentary GPS Self-Guided Walking Tour App for each of our trolley stops. This allows guests to maximize their time and discover many of the hidden gems throughout Boston’s historic neighborhoods while making the most efficient use of their trolley tickets. I also understand that our manager on duty permitted you to use your tickets for unlimited rides that day as a courtesy. We hope you were able to take advantage of that accommodation and enjoy the opportunity to hop on and off to explore Boston. We originally got on one of the trolleys with an audio tour playing. But at stop 7 we got on with another tour guide, a lady who narrated while driving. I cannot remember her name but she was a Boston gal through and through. Very knowledgeable and witty. We had a great time and I just wish I could remember her name. Ask for the blonde lady with the Boston accent. You will not be disappointed. Go on a Sunday morning to a wood the crowds.
