Nyd en hel dag med safari på den berømte Masai Mara med et returfly fra Nairobi. Afrejse tidligt om morgenen og se The Big 5 i aktion og tage en vandretur langs Mara floden for en chance for at spotte krokodiller, hippo familier og wildebeest migration ruter. Hot Lunch på Ashnil Mara Camp beliggende langs bredden af Mara floden.

Din dag begynder med en tidlig morgen afhentning klokken 6:00 fra din Nairobi bolig, eller lufthavnen. Du vil derefter blive overført til Wilson Lufthavn for din planlagte indenrigsflyvning til Masai Mara. Ved ankomsten i Maasai Mara, vil din lokale safari guide møde dig på flyvepladsen, og du vil straks begynde din spændende hele dag spillet kørsel over reservatet. Under safarien vil du søge efter de berømte store katte og mange andre vilde dyr. Nyd en gåsafari ved Mara-floden. Du vil stoppe for frokost på Ashnil Mara Camp, før du fortsætter med din spil drive. Om eftermiddagen fortsætter du med at udforske reservatet på udkig efter dyr, du måske ikke har set tidligere, med mulighed for at stoppe for billeder og nyde det utrolige landskab. Efter en mindeværdig safarioplevelse, vil du vende tilbage til flyvepladsen for at komme om bord på dit returfly til Nairobi, der afgår på 1600Hrs. Overall this was a very enjoyable experience. The game drive through Masai Mara was outstanding but why it did not rate any higher than 3 (and that is being generous), is the cost. It is NOT a $600 per person day trip. It is an $800 per person day trip because the fee does not include the $200/ person park entrance fee. It is also a very, very long day. We were picked up at 5am and returned at 11pm; 18 hours. It is very, very difficult to understand why this trip is $800 per person. Yes, we did have a personal game drive vehicle to ourselves and enjoyed a quiet, private lunch under the shade of a tree on the savanna. All great but doesn't add up to $800 pp. By comparison we did a 3 night/4 day glamping accommodation safari at Kruger that included transfers to and from Jo'burg (approx same dist/time as MM is from Nairobi), for $620pp and that included park fees. How can this 1 day tour be more expensive than a 4 day tour w accommodations, meals and transfers? I was expecting something really impressive to justify the cost but other than the Safari vehicle all to ourselves it was less in every way to what we received for less money in Kruger. We had only 1 day and had no choice but I would recommend searching further for alternate options if you have the time. This trip was worth 'it' if you just fine "it" as enjoying the experience. It was not worth the $800pp price tag.

Notably is that we have both a Fly In and Road Package and depending on your budget and safari choice, we are always flexible to ensure you meet your travel needs. It is great to compare Kenya and South Africa and the price ranges but every country has different tariffs based on factors like taxation, fuel prices, entry fees among others. Therefore it would be misleading to other guests to try imply the prices are high. We look forward to hosting you on the next tour.
My colleague and I booked this trip for August 2024. I paid Tripadvisor and received our tickets immediately. A day later I received a message via WhatsApp from someone from Samson's Safaris saying that they have had problems in the past with Tripadvisor and often they had to return money to clients, etc etc. He suggested that I cancel my tour on Tripadvisor and I should transfer money onto his account. Obviously, I declined and said that I am happy to stay with Tripadvisor. Later that day I received a cancellation e-mail from Trip advisor and a message from Samson Safaris saying that his boss insisted that they cancel this trip, I should go into the website and request a refund and that we can pay them cash on pick-up. I was so annoyed! He then began negotiating a cheaper rate with me. I got my refund from Tripadvisor, but also cancelled the trip with Samson's Safaris because this entire experience smelt fishy, and this was not a cheap trip. Unfortunately, I never got to go to the Maasai Mara, but I booked a trip to Amboseli Park through Tripadvisor and thoroughly enjoyed that. Suggest Tripadvisor remove Samson's Safaris from their website.

However its Key to note that some rogue guests do make bookings on the platform with the intention to get refunds when they do complain. The platform also allows a service provider to cancel a booking even on the day of the trip based on various legitimate reasons. That Said we are Happy You Had an amazing time in Amboseli.
Amazing trip with an insanely credible and experienced guide who knew exactly where to find all of the animals of interest. We were lucky to see the big four of five and so many more in less than one day. Our guide went above and beyond to make this trip was memorable yet efficient. Unforgettable!

Had a fantastic experience - Samsons were friendly and responsive in planning the trip. We originally opted to fly out and drive back to Nairobi. While we were on the safari we changed our minds - Samsons were able to book us a return flight with no hassle at all. The driver/ guide was friendly and very professional. He made extra effort so we saw the game and had a great viewpoint once we found it. Highly recommended

It has been spectacular and the guide spoke Spanish, so it made the trip very easy. They are very attentive, both from the office and the guide, so that everything was perfect. The guide knew the park perfectly and showed us all its secrets in the short time we had. We recommend staying at least 3 or 5 days.
