BUKIT CINTA (ELSKER HILL). Troet af Tengger-stammen som et sted, hvor to par elskere, nemlig Joko Seger og Roro Anteng, omtales som forfædre eller oprindelsen til Tengger-stammen, der beboede Mount Bromo-området. Dette er den mest romantiske beliggenhed i Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS). Hvis du fortsat tænker på den person, du elsker, mens turen fra synspunktet til dette sted, mener Tengger-stammen, at du vil blive en livspartner med de mennesker, du tænker på.
Pura Luhur Poten er et hinduistisk tempel beliggende under foden af Mount Bromo. Dette tempel er centrum for religiøse aktiviteter i flertallet af Tengger-stamme, der er hinduer. Du kan besøge dette sted ved at gå så langt som 200 meter fra parkeringsområdet.

MALANG- SUNRISE VIEW POINT, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) Turen til Mount Bromo tager normalt 2-2,5 timer fra Malang by. Det første område af TNBTS, som vi vil besøge, er udsigtspunktet for solopgang, der ligger i Penanjakan eller Kingkong-bakken. Normalt vil solopgangen stå op kl. 04.30. Ved ankomst til udsigtspunktet for solopgang vil chaufføren bede om tilladelse til at tage et hvil indtil kl. 06.00. Dette er vigtigt i betragtning af, at vejforholdene, som du vil tage om morgenen, er mere ujævne end den vej, du har kørt i løbet af natten (Malang-Sunrise view point). Så du vil nyde udsigten over Penanjakan uden en rejseguide. Nattetemperaturen ved Mount Bromo er normalt 0°-12° Celcius og vil varme op, når solen står op. Hvis du har brug for en ekstra jakke, kan du leje i udsigtspunktet ved solopgang for 20.000 - 30.000 IDR. Mens du venter på, at solen står op, kan du vente på den lokale kaffebar der. Hamden was a fantastic tour guide and made our experience so fun. He took us to the Caldera of mount bromo while it was still dark so we could see the lava and then wait for the sunrise down below. We came to the caldera first instead of the viewpoint to avoid some heavily congested traffic, but this was a choice that he offered and we could of course stick to the original itinerary if we preferred. Trust that you will see an unfathomable amount of "jeeps" all headed in the exact same direction to do the exact same thing. Our jeep driver did an amazing job of making the bumpy roads as comfortable as possible. The sulfur fumes can be unpredictable and quite strong- make sure you bring a mask!! Even with a mask my nose burned and I was still coughing, but there is no way to control nature. Temperatures were quite cold, especially before sunrise. As a new englander used to the cold, I was able to tough it out with a long sleeve shirt, sun hoodie, and wind breaker for my layers. Consider bundling up better if you don't tolerate cold well. Hamden took so many wonderful photos and videos for us throughout the day which will be a great way to remember this trip. The best part of the trip was an unscripted eruption from Mount semeru in the distance- so cool to see!

Truly an awesome experience. Our tour guide Hamdan and driver Dika were super sweet and really helpful! It was very busy and they decided to change the program in consultation with us (to the volcano first instead of sunrise), which turned out to be a fantastic choice. 10/10 for these guys! 👏🏼

Absolutely wonderful private tour of bromo 🙏 everything went amazing and our guide Hamdan as well as our driver Mr Wawan had given us an epic personalised experience. Our guide Hamdan was very knowledgeable of the volcanoes of the area, and his photography skills were epic 😀 he also helped some of our family who were a little nervous of heights. Mr Wawan our driver took us on lesser used tracks which meant we could beat queues of other jeeps in the area. I’d give our guide and experience 5 stars happily. Many thanks Kristian

Couldn’t see Bromo as we were taken to the wrong viewing point. The view we did have of other mountains and sea of sand was spectacular but not what we paid for. The transportation was very cramped and uncomfortable. Be careful before you book. The guide and driver were very good

We (me & fam) had 1 day Bromo sunrise private trip with Mr Hamdan as our tour leader. The trip was excellent: great scheduling so we could arrive earlier and got perfect sunrise spot, avoid traffic jam, etc. Hamdan, jeep driver and shuttle driver are also really helpful, communicative and do their best effort to help us got best experience during trip. Really recommended service!
