- Tickets are only valid for the selected date and time; please arrive within your designated time slot.
- All visitors are required to go through airport-style security, and during peak season, wait times may exceed 30 minutes.
- Youth tickets are offered to individuals aged 7 to 18 (inclusive) who can present a valid ID.
- Opening hours may vary due to special events at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica.
- Children below 7 years old enter free of charge when presenting a valid ID.
- Those with a disability and their carer or companion go free of charge with a certificate of disability, which you must present at the Special Permits and/or the Reception desk in the hall of the museum
- June, July, and August are especially busy since they fall in the peak season.
- Shorts, short skirts and sleeveless shirts are not allowed
