12 Days Best Of Kenya and Tanzania Safari - Luxury

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TOUR COMPANY!!! I am writing this review to highlight the worst experience I have ever had with a foreign tour company. It all began in July of 2024 when I reached out to Bush2City and finalized an agreement for a "13 day Best of Kenya Tanzania Safari-Luxury" that included 10 luxury accommodations. In retrospect, I should have booked with another tour company that offered me a great package and had warned me about Bush2City. I had many communications with Mali over the following months until I fully paid the trip in May of 2025 for the trip that began July 15th. I was informed without advanced notice or rationale that 4 out of 10 of our accommodations were changed to lower category places. I was extremely upset, and we had just started our trip since I meticulously selected all the accommodations. We found that 3 of the accommodations were terrible including the last one which was supposed to be the best lodge in Amboseli and instead it was a wholesale lodge outside of the park with tons of tourists. Mr. Solomon Jackson finally agreed to meet with my husband and I at almost the end of our tour in Arusha. He apologized and promised to provide us with a 20% refund that totaled $3200 USD. Since July, he offered several excuses as to why he did not provide the refund and then finally, he has not responded to any of my emails, calls, or texts for the past month. At the very least, I hope that no one else suffers from his fraudulent actions.

This was our second Safari. The company did an amazing job with all the planning, selection of hotels, guides and vehicles. Jackson organized our trip and he did an amazing job. Our guides were David in Tanzania and Richard in Kenya. They went above and beyond the call of duty. We use this company because a friend of ours from Switzerland had used them and had an amazing experience with them as well. I highly recommend them.

We booked this 13 days best of Kenya and Tanzania luxury tour with Jackson, the owner of the company. It was privet tour. He answerd all our questions. Added one extra day in Nairobi. Everything was very organized . And the nice touch to the trip was that Jackson meet with us in the middle of the tour. The guides- drivers Patrik and Ali are the best! They are very knowledgeable and experienced guides and great people. The best! They new where to go to find animals. And we saw all of them! All the lodges and camps were excellent. All of them were inside the parks. It's very important not to waist time,while you'd like to see animals. It was amazing to see animals and birds walking on camp or lidge territory, you can here at night elephants or lions make noise. The food was delicious! Mostly it was buffet. If you need to take lunch box , chef would come to your tabe and ask what to cook for you (at camps). The most important part of the trip are people . They are so nice! I'd like to say special thanks to people from. Sametu camp. Ian, Alex and everyone else made out stay feel like being at home with my friends. Thanks to everyone for making our trip unforgettable!

The trip was absolutely fabulous and Mali from Bush2City was wonderful to work with! She took care of everything for us and would quickly respond to all of our questions and needs. Our guides, Steve and Ally, were incredible and we feel so fortunate to have had them both!!! We already miss them! Our favorite camp was Sametu where Ramadhan took incredible care of us! The food was superb and the accommodations outstanding! We enjoyed wonderful drinks with an amazing sunset there. My one complaint, would have liked to stay there for another day or two to actually enjoy the property. Huge thank you to Mali, Steve, Ally, Ramadhan and all the others that had any part in our incredible adventure! Oh, and we saw plenty of the big 5 as well as every other animal we expected and didn't expect to see! Thank you all for an incredible trip!

No words are enough for a spectacular experience we had on this trip. One of the best. Maliwaza was our sales rep- efficient, prompt and took care of each and everything for us. From the time we were picked in Nairobi to the point we took off- she was there for us. She even kept track of our flights at all times. She came and met us in Arusha which we all thought was such a very nice gesture. The two drivers we had - Joseph and Ali- my God they were the best. They were patient and made sure we saw and experienced the best of their countries. They were so proud of showing us their spectacular land. Ali took us to the best place for shopping. Every hotel we stayed in was over the top. I know I am coming back and will use Bush2City again. All our friends want to know more about the trip and we will for sure recommend this company and Maliwaza. Thank you Maliwaza and thank you Bush2City.

I cannot say enough about our safari. Just absolutely marvelous. From my first conversation with Maliwaza a year ago, to the completion of an absolutely marvelous life changing experience, Bush 2 city was nothing but outstanding. Planning a safari takes a lot of research. Maliwaza patiently answered all my questions and planned an incredible experience for us. For anyone wanting to do a safari, don't look no further. Just call Maliwaza at Bush 2 city. It will save you a lot of hassle and decision making. Joseph was our guide in Masai Mara and Ali was our guide in Serengeti. Two absolutely marvelous individuals who gave us just a phenomenal experience. They knew where to look for great sightings and give us an incredible adventure. The lodges Maliwaza booked for us were nothing short of amazing. Ilkilani in Masai Mara, River camp in Northern Serengeti, Sametu camp in central Serengeti and Lions Paw in Ngorongoro crater...all just amazing with great service, fabulous people, lovely amenities, great food and drinks, sunrise or sunset views and amazing wild life views right from your camp room. In Tarangire we stayed at the Sopa lodge, another lovely experience...elephants in your back yard:) We saw just about everything we could through the trip...lions, cheetah, leopards, wildebeest migration crossings ( we were so lucky, we saw two crossings...Ali was just amazing). Joseph got us to see a lioness hunt for her cubs.. phenomenal. Can't forget to mention the giraffe, zebra, warthog, baboons, elephant herds, buffalo herds and more. Just outstanding. The land cruisers both Joseph and Ali drove were in amazing condition. They kept the vehicles in great shape..and both are excellent drivers. They were always and ever ready to show us more. Can't miss telling you about the balloon safari in the Serengeti. Just phenomenal. Must do. Don't skip it. Also, highly highly highly recommend flying from Masai Mara into Serengeti...its way more convenient and a fabulous adventure...3 small planes with flight durations of 8 mins, 15 mins and 18 mins. Amazing out of Africa experience. All in all, Maliwaza at Bush 2 city, Joseph, Ali all are just fabulous. We will be back in 2026! Highly recommend using Maliwaza at Bush 2 city for planning your safari adventure!!!

We, my husband and I went on a trip to Africa that was planned through Maliwaza Kazimoto at Bush2City in Tanzania. We would recommend both without hesitation! As we had no idea where/how to start planning such a trip, we initially emailed several tour companies in Africa. Although all responded, Maliwaza was the only one who sent us detailed information and an itinerary before even knowing if we were truly interested. From beginning to end, Maliwaza planned our trip, was available by phone (WhatsApp) and email, responded within hours and answered all of our MANY questions, made changes with dates and places, and helped to set up an itinerary that not only included their specialty with Safaris but a trip to Victoria Falls as well. Even while on the trip, Maliwaza checked in with us and our tour guides to ensure all was going well. Our two tour guides (Joseph in Kenya and Hussein in Tanzania) were fantastic. They were friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable As my husband is hearing impaired, both readily agreed to wear a hearing aid microphone on their shirts so that he could hear all they had to say. Our accommodations were amazing. We stayed in tent camps/lodges in all the parks. The tents were fully equipped, beautifully decorated, and as comfortable as any luxury hotel room. We have never encountered staff as friendly and accommodating as we did throughout our trip. They greeted us at our safari jeep upon arrival, knew our names within hours, accommodated all of our needs (including my husband’s picky eating), and welcomed us “home” when coming back at the end of the day. Every aspect of the trip went smoothly and we never had to worry about what we were doing next, how we were getting there, and who would be meeting us. Our entire trip was beyond expectations due to the amazing sights, and the wonderful planning, execution, and follow-up of Bush2City. The only exception to our accommodation was the Acacia Ngorongoro Luxury Camp and this was due to no fault of Bush2City. They were clearly not ready to have opened in July but told Bush2City that they were. However, when we arrived there and saw all the shortcomings, our guide was immediately on the phone to Maliwaza who immediately contacted the lodge manager, who did all she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We would use Bush2City again in a heartbeat.

Maliwaza from Bush 2 City organized a private safari for a friend and me last year to Tanzania. I loved it so much that I returned this year with my daughters, adding Kenya to the tour. Maliwaza's attention to detail is amazing. She managed to find the most beautiful lodges for us with great food. I am on a strict gluten free diet and she made numerous calls to each lodge to confirm that my dietary needs could be met. Aziz was our guide in Tanzania. He was wonderful, managing to find all the animals that we hoped to see, patiently allowing us as much time as we wanted observing the animals, and answering all of our questions. We highly recommend him. In Kenya, Kevin, along with his trainee Richard were our guides. Again we were most pleased. Kevin is a skilled driver and both are enthusiastic and passionate guides, as well as environmentalists. Starting at sunrise breakfast, they always took full advantage of each day, ensuring we maximized the precious time that we had on the trip. Thank you for a great trip Bush 2 City!

The greatest experience of our lives! But Africa will always be amazing, what makes the difference is the customer support and 1 on 1 communication you have with Bush 2 City to make sure every detail of your trip is perfect. We ended doing a custom 24 day safari with multiple flights, boat rides, hot air balloon rides ect... and the execution was flawless. Bush 2 city made sure everything was on time and exactly what we wanted. I can't say enough good things about them.

Outstanding itinerary and knowledgeable guides. Flexible to meet our requests. Fabulous accommodations. Our kids all want to return.
