I liked almost everything, but it is true that we were going to see the dolphins and we were disappointed since there were none, and it did not say anything on the page.
Nice midsize zoo and aquarium. Covered most of the world's animals. Not as big as a big U.S. zoo, but very well done. Not crowded during the week, even the pandas. Took about 4 hours to see everything. A lot of walking in shade which was nice also. It was a nice break from shopping and museums. Only one restaurant was open but it was enough for a weekday. Also has a gift shop. We took the Metro to the Casa de Campo, the last stop on Line 5, the Green line. Then about a kilometer walks on a good dirt path away from the road.
Few restos open during the week but nice shows at certain times
My visit to the Madrid Aquarium Zoo was mediocre. Although I appreciated that they provided a map upon entry, the experience did not meet my expectations. There were few animals to observe and, in several areas, signage was scarce or nonexistent, which made the tour difficult. Furthermore, the employees were not very accessible to guide visitors, and the range of exhibits or shows was quite limited. Overall, I expected a more complete and entertaining experience.
A very interesting tour for those who love animals, with an emphasis on the conservation of species and the environment. Appropriate explanations and very enlightening exhibitions
We went to spend a day with family since we love animals and especially wanted to see the panda. We have been several times and this time my feeling is that the animals are much better than on previous occasions, I found the park very clean at all times and with many shaded areas and places to cool off, which is appreciated given the temperature.
Easy access. No waiting line. Too expensive. Good. Maintained. Ideal size for the day. I find that it opens too late for the summer. Not fresh.
My visit was very disappointing. The general feeling is that many animals have spaces that are too small for their needs. The penguin exhibit especially caught my attention, with a pool that seemed tiny to me for the number of specimens that were there. The same thing happens with the seals, whose enclosure seemed clearly insufficient to me for an animal like that, which needs mobility. What impacted me the most was seeing the Tibetan bear. During the whole time I was observing it, it did not stop walking in circles repetitively, showing behavior that made me think its well-being was not adequate. Seeing an animal in those conditions is very sad; it seems pathetic and shameful to me to exhibit an animal in those conditions. I think this zoo should stop prioritizing shows and money to allocate those resources to expanding and improving the enclosures and the state of the animals. In my opinion, the current facilities are not even close to what a center committed to animal welfare should be. It is worth noting that in all the shows and outside they keep repeating that the animals are in good condition and that they look after their well-being, but based on what I saw today, they certainly do not care about their physical and mental well-being or the conditions they are kept in. I left with a very unpleasant feeling and I will not visit it again. I hope they change or otherwise that they shut it down.
Bought tickets from this web and they never sent the links of the tickets so we had to buy new ones at the places
A fantastic day with the family
