Möt vår förare i hotellets lobby. Efter en timmes körning kommer du anländer zhujiajiao vattenby, starta din spännande sightseeingtur från denna 1700-åriga vattenstaden. Upptäck dess pittoreska kanaler, floder och den stora Dian Shan-sjön. Ta tillfället i akt att shoppa, promenera och utforska den här vackra byn med en avkopplande båttur, få fantastiskt foto ops också - du kan till och med öva din förhandlingsförmåga på de lokala butikerna. Prova några lokala tilltugg eller ta en trevlig lunch i en lokal restaurang vid kanalen innan vi avgår för höjdpunkter i Shanghai.
På eftermiddagen kommer du att besöka Yuyuan-trädgården, en klassisk skapelse av Ming-dynastin och den gamla Shanghai-gatan, som härstammar från Qing-dynastin. (inträdesavgift: 30rmb under lågsäsong, 40rmb under högsäsong) en Yu Yuan är den mest kända trädgården i Shanghai. Det ligger i hjärtat av Shanghais gamla stad, en av de få gamla turistorterna i Shanghai. Nära till trädgården finns Shanghai basar, ett stort antal små gator och körfält där försäljare säljer sina produkter och mat till turister och lokalbefolkningen. Det kallas Yuyuan Garden - för att "Yu" på kinesiska betyder "fred och hälsa" - en plats för fred och komfort i hjärtat av upptagen Shanghai. Yu Yuan Garden byggdes först som en privat trädgård skapad av Pan Yunduan. Han använde nästan 20 år och alla sina besparingar för att bygga en trädgård i ett försök att behaga sina föräldrar i sina höga åldrar.
Fortsätt ett besök i Bund, Shanghans pittoreska vattnet, känd som den internationella arkitekturutställningen för sin spektakulära skyhöjd. Härifrån kan du njuta av vidsträckt utsikt över floden Huangpu. Bunden i Shanghai användes först när det första brittiska företaget öppnade ett kontor där 1846. Bunden, eller vattnet, omges nu av cirka 50 olika byggnader av olika arkitektoniska stilar, inklusive gotisk, barock, romansk, klassicism och renässans.

Our guide Eric, was really informative and very knowledgeable. The day was great. He was very kind to ensure we got food that was appropriate for our dietary needs for lunch. We had a great day with our guide, Mary. She took us to a nice watertown which was well worth the visit. We were there early morning which meant the streets was not too crowded. Afterwards we drove to the places we wanted to see after our own liking. Mary was speaking good English and had a lot of knowledge.
Our driver Mr Mou was amazing. Our guide Sophie was exceptional. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. Her English was top notch. We had a wonderful day with her and she took the time to understand what we wanted to see. We were able to get so much more out of our day by having Sophie with us. If you are in Shanghai definitely book a tour with Sophie. The only thing is make sure that your hotel is within the pick up zone. Confirm with them that it is. They will still accommodate you if you are outside the zone, it will just cost a little more for the extra time. But don’t let that stop you. We had a great day with Sophie!
We had the absolute pleasure of touring Zhujiajiao Water Town and Shanghai with Tom, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Tom was incredibly friendly, kind, and full of knowledge about the area's rich history and culture. Our first day started with a stroll through Old City Shanghai before heading out to the picturesque Zhujiajiao Water Town. The scenery was breathtaking, and Tom brought the town to life with fascinating stories and insights. We capped off the afternoon with a lovely tea break that gave us time to soak it all in. The second day was just as special—we explored the charming French Quarter, visited the serene Jade Buddha Temple, and returned once more to Old City Shanghai to catch a few things we missed the first time around. One of the highlights of the tour was simply spending time with Tom. We shared two meals together, had meaningful conversations, and laughed all day. His warmth and enthusiasm made the experience feel like we were exploring with a close friend rather than just a guide. Tom is an amazing guide and truly made our trip memorable. We can’t recommend him highly enough!

Tom is a great driver, very friendly, knows the city very well and China in general, he is very proficient in English which is rare to find in China. He picked me up at the exact agreed time and the tour went really smoothly - he also gave me some recommendations for the rest of the trip that were really valuable so would definitely recommend the experience. You can probably go to some of the places by yourself but it was so much more convenient to have a driver like Tom, also you can personalize it if you want/need
