Zambezi Explorer Luxury Deck Sunset Cruise med hotellhämtning

The Zambezi Explorer was operated alternately by Captains Yolanda & B, who also served as spotters for wild life such as crocs, hippos, zebras, elephants, etc. We were allowed to sail on Zambian territory as long as the boat didn’t stop. It’s the biggest vessel on the Zambezi River that were entertaining visitors with a relaxing, serene sunset cruise. Their eclectic group or couple seatings are comfortable. Their wash rooms were clean and presentable. We opted for vodka tonic then a juice drink. I believe other guests had as many drinks as they requested. Their hors d’oeuvres - potato chips, chicken satay with rolls, sliders with mini quiches - were filling. Their spoke-person, Ms. Luba, asked everyone if we had food allergy. The staff entertained us with two traditional songs.

Stunning boat ride on the Zambezie Explorer ‘Luxury Decks’! Relaxing on the sofas enjoying food and beverages while cruising was spectacular! Highly recommend! Enjoyed with our family parents and young adults!

Due to unforseen circumstances our booked cruise didnt happen with the above company. Simon was so helpful and booked us on another cruise. He went out of his way to sort things out by visiting us at our hotel and returning our original booking payment. Well done Simon and thank you. We would recommend this company highly.

We were hoping this cruise would be better. We carefully considered all the choices provided to us by The Victoria Fall Hotel and thought this would be the best. We reserved the upper deck because viewing and services were described as being the best. We were picked up at our hotel along with another couple we did not know. We then made 3 more stops to get more passengers. This was fine and done in a timely comfortable fashion. Our driver, I think his name was Leo was a little too chatty for us. After the fact, we wished he had been more chatty about the procedure to get us back to our hotels. More about that later. We had assigned seating which unfortunately for us was in the blazing sun. Others were seated undercover, we were not aware that there was a choice. Luckily, we found seating elsewhere without the help of staff. The crew seemed overrun with customers as the wait for drinks took a long time at the start of the cruise The info the hotel gave us was that maximum seating was 20. There were more than that on our deck. One large group had young children and one was overcome with the heat. They had her covered up on the couch with pillows to protect her from the sun. That was a little concerning as she looked unwell. Another young girl was running and tripped over a long metal piece dividing the outside area from the covered one. She landed on her face. Seemed unhurt just scared. Her parents should have been watching her but weren't. We enjoyed the gourmet canapes provided by the Victoria Falls Hotel and the drinks were served in a timely manner after the initial start of the cruise. Animal sighting was not great, but that's not anyone's fault. The boat was very nice and looking at the others on the river, we were glad we chose this one. Staff made good drinks and were pleasant. The sunset was beautiful. Our biggest complaint was the handling of our return to The Victoria Falls Hotel. We got off the boat and went to the designated area. Everyone else did too, except for 3 people. Instead of our driver going to see where they were after a reasonable time, he did not. We sat on the bus for over 30 minutes waiting. After about another 15 or more minutes the driver went to look for them. He should have done that long before !!! He came back and said they were staying there and not returning with us. That was rude on their part, but the driver should have gone to look for them a lot sooner. It was only a short walk back to the boat. We left without them, but we wasted a lot of time waiting. We missed our dinner reservation because of it, as we got back too late. I think the drivers should make it clear that you will be left behind if you do not show up at the appointed time. Our driver was too busy making jokes when he should have been doing just that.

This is a Luxury three deck river boat. Take the top deck, which offers delicious snacks and any drink you want. Cruise the river in style and view all kinds of animals up close, while relaxing in luxury. Then watch the sunset in a magnificent African setting.
