XOCHIMILCO & COYOACAN (Privat)

Beskrivning

Our driver tour guide was absolutely amazing! He was so informative and made our trip so fun! He recommended the best taco place for us to eat after our boat tour and we had the best day wandering around.
Hi Lauren. We'd like to thank you for your review! It was a pleasure to guide you in Xochimilco and Coyoacan. Hasta pronto!!
I tried connecting with our guide through Viator and through customer support a few times, but we couldn’t reach our guide to tell them our pick up location had changed. To play it safe, we walked to the old location and our guide did meet us there. The boat tour isn’t much of anything unless you come prepared to spend more money on everything being sold from other boats. We were hoping for a relaxing float in Xochimilco but you literally cannot get away from being badgered every 5 seconds to buy something. Even the guide on the boat tried to sell us cheap jewelry. The stop in Coyoacan was nice but it’s like walking in any other downtown and there is no information on it. You just get out and wander. Overall, the stops in Xochimilco and Coyocacan were both nice, but you spend more time in traffic than you do at each spot and you don’t learn anything about the history of either. If you want to check them out, just take an Uber. It’ll be cheaper. Maybe you can find a proper tour guide after your Uber drops you off.
hi Sophia, thanks for your review. We're sorry to know that Xochimilco and Coyoacan didn't meet your expectation, but unfortunately, we can't do very much about. Luckily, there are many other people enjoying this tour. Bests,
Our tour guide Abner was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We were able to see many of the main sites and he gave us the opportunity to get out and walk a few times. Our driver was also amazing...sorry.. forget his name. Abner offered us options on what to see which is the advantage of the private tour. We loved the canal tour...a very unique experience! We had our 2 adult children and 2 granddaughters ages 10 and 13 with us.
hi Jane, many thanks for your wonderfull review. Our team will be happy to receive it. We hope to see you back in our country! Bests
This is not a tour I would recommend. There wasn’t good communication in advance. There wasn’t much information provided during the tour. The boat tour itself was crowded and I’d say could be missed. It was a lot of traveling without much reward. It was very much overpriced for the experience.
This was awesome for me as it was very relaxing and it also was good to see how people were making a living on the canals.
hi Wayne, ,any thanks for you great review!
It was a great experience, the tour guide was amazing he was very knowledgeable on Mexico City rich history and explained the history of the city surrounding with passion. I defiantly recommend the tour you will have lots of fun in Xochimilco, I do advice to have Mexico currency for shops and tip.
HI AMALIA, many thanks for your review and for recommending our private tour to Xochimilco. We hope to see you back in Mx City. Bests
Gabriel was an excellent guide with fluent English. He was well versed in Mexican history. He was also very considerate of the need for many rest stops for an 83 year old woman. There were only myself snd my adult grandson on the tour.
Hello!! We want to thank you for your review. It's great to know that our guide Gabriel was a great tour conductor and that you've enjoyed Xochimilco tour!!! We hope to see you soon, again in Mexico.
Great time in the gondola on the Xochimilco. We got to see some cool reptiles at one of the little businesses along the shore. Marcelo was a great tour guide!
Hello Phillip, many thanks for your great review. Our guide Marcelo will be happy to read it. Bests,
The canals were a cool experience but our driver was not bilingual as promised. While I know minimal conversational Spanish, I feel like the listing was misleading as it promised a tour guide who was bilingual and can share information about the beautiful town of Coyoacán and about Frida Kahlo. He left us to go on the boat ourselves with a non-English speaking guide so we didn’t get to do anything but sit there and go up and down the canals silently. There was one complimentary beer but no fiesta vibe as shown in all other listings for Xochimilco. While I did enjoy the private boat ride and having a very kind private driver, the listing made it seem like we would have much more (commentary, learnings) for the expensive price of $129. I think it’s a great experience for those who want a mellow and private trip, but not for people who wanted something more festive or to actual engage and learn from the guide.
hello Erica, thanks for your comments. we are sorry if we didn't meet your expectation, but actually the tour we offer doesn't include a party. Bests,
It was a fun experience. It was a beautiful day that day, and the boat ride was nice, relaxing, and calm.
