Med en grupp på 8 personer eller mindre kommer din professionella tour guide att ge Xi'an den härliga historien till liv under den här 2-timmars vandringsturen. Din guide kommer att vänta på dig vid mötesplatsen. De kommer att presentera dig för den fascinerande historien och kulturen i den gamla staden under 10 minuters promenad till stadsmuren. Om transportalternativet väljs kommer du att överföras med bil och möt guiden i South Gate. Xi'an City Wall är den största och bäst bevarade gamla stadsmuren i Kina. Det fungerade som det militära defensiva systemet i antiken, vilket kan spåras tillbaka till Tang-dynastin. We did the bike ride along the top of the city wall at night which was magical. It was cold and a light snow was falling which added to the enchantment. Our tour guide, Noble, who is a native of Xi’an, was a wealth of information. We learned about the history of the wall and its unique features and architecture. In preparation for the Chinese New Year there were dozens of massive lighted figures of all types of things including dragons, horses and others along the south wall. The figures were bright and colorful lending to the magic of the experience. Highly recommend this experience.

Most people focus on the terracotta warriors (which are amazing by the way) but risk missing out on a very unique experience to visit the Xi'an City Wall - China's only intact ancient city wall. The history is fascinating, and when else do you get a chance to ride a bike on such an historic ancient monument!? Our tour guide Ken was extremely knowledgeable, and helped us understand more about Xi'an and the city wall. Definitely recommend this tour - you can do it quickly or take more time and stretch it out, it's up to you. Very glad we made the time to do this!
