Wine Tour Experience i Lake Country 5 vingårdar

The tour operator was such a welcome addition to our first visit to Kelowna, B.C. The tour can be arranged through the Marriott Grand Delta hotel lobby. We were fortunate to have Steve provide a most delightful tour of the four wineries. Steve is completely knowledgeable, professional and congenial. He made our experience completely memorable through his thoughtfulness and ability to be inclusive to each and every person in our party. He was able to explain the history of each winery, and provided helpful suggestions i.e., stay hydrated (bottled water was included), not to feel pressure to make purchases at each winery, and offered fun facts about the area which were very educational. There is a lot of standing at many of these tastings and with very hot weather, my knees were very achy. Steve was aware and very accommodating and went out of his way to find a chair for me when available. This experience was a highlight, and Steve made our first time in Kelowna even more memorable.

Just a great full day wine tour and a supberb tour guide/driver with Sach at the wwheel.This was a very easy day. Pickup at our park was easy and Sach was helpful and informative as to what we should expect and how the day would go. He worked hard to ensure that we got the most out of the tour and even stopped by a vegetable stand for some shopping prior to returning us to the park. He also took the time to capture moments with the group and shared these pictures with our tour group before the end of the day. Very worthwhile tour and a fantastic guide with Sach.

Amazing day!!! Amazing guide!! Amazing tour!! We were picked up and dropped off at our accommodations to make for a worry free day. Steven, our guide, provided humour, music, a helping hand for getting into the van, and knowledgeable tidbits along the way. At each winery, he took care of the purchases and moved them into the van for transport home. The tour included a wide variety of wineries for us to visit!

We had relatives visiting from Germany and decided to take them on a wine tour as an activity and as a way for them to see a part of the Okanagan Valley. After a lot of research, we chose to go with VIVID and did the "Sip and Scenic" wine tour in Lake Country. It was so amazing: everything was just perfect and it was great being picked up/dropped off at our residence (worry free!). The VIVID vehicle was extremely comfortable, the five wineries we went to were excellent and were in locations that had absolutely spectacular views. Bottled water was provided and the Vivid rep also took care of any bottles of wine that we bought (taking them from the winery, storing them in the vehicle and returning them upon drop off). We all had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; our German relatives were quite impressed. BEST OF ALL was our Vivid rep, NATE!!!! He was extremely knowledgeable on a variety of topics (wine, OK Valley etc), he had great interpersonal skills and he was polite, kind, helpful and very engaging and funny. On top of that, Nate took excellent photos of everyone throughout the day and provided us a link so that we could download them; makes for great memories of a wonderful time. Nate genuinely seemed to enjoy his job and interacted with all of us on a very down to earth level. Thank you VIVID and, especially, THANK YOU NATE!!! We highly recommend Vivid.

This was one of best organized tours I've been on in B.C. I contacted Vivid about joining this tour as a solo traveler and they were so accommodating. The tour itself was great and my driver Steven was full of jokes and knowledge of the Okanagan Valley and the wineries we visited. I enjoyed the company of others on the tour as well. Overall it was well organized, I loved the wineries and it made for a good day in Kelowna. I would recommend this company to my friends and I'll reserve with them again if I'm back in the future.

When I was choosing our wine tour for the Kelowna area, I specifically booked one that advertised wineries a further distance from where we were staying. Our accommodations were within walking distance of many wineries so we planned accordingly and visited a few wineries around the area before going on our wine tour. When we were picked up for our wine tour the next day, we were disappointed to find out that the itinerary was completely changed and included 2 wineries that we had already visited. In fact all the wineries were within the area we were staying which was not as advertised. We understand itineraries change but Vivid advertised 5 specific wineries that we were to visit in our tour. If you are not able to visit the wineries advertised, please say so in your advertisement so customers can be prepared for potential changes. After the first winery stop, we did reach out to the tour manager, who did change the itinerary for our group which was greatly appreciated. We have nothing but great things to say about our tour guide, Vicki. She was fantastic, knowledgeable, fun, friendly and super approachable. When we returned to our accommodation after the tour, we found out, through our hosts, that this was not the first time vivid tours had changed up the itinerary on customers. Many of their guests have used Vivid tours in the past and were promised a certain itinerary, only to have it changed last minute. Further more, vivid tours contacted me again after our tour. At that point we had moved on, but they ended up calling and harassing us, giving us excuses instead of a resolution. My recommendation? Do not book with Vivid tours and look for other reputable wine touring companies in the area. We also learned not to book through trip advisor, as it is more expensive than booking directly through the tour company website.

I’m not able to comment on the wine tour itself but I can comment on the terrible customer service we received from Shanti after booking one. The customer service was truly terrible and up there with the worst we have ever experienced. After booking a Lake Country Tour in June we were contacted at the last minute by Shanti (only two days before the Lake Country Tour was due to go ahead) and informed that we would be moved onto the East Kelowna wine tour. This was not presented as an option and we were given no explanation as to why this was happening. When we got back in touch later the same day to ask why we had been moved and if it was possible to do the Lake Country Tour, no explanation was given and no attempt was made to accomodate us. The response we managed to elicit was immediately hostile and was that we had consented to the switch in tour (it wasn’t presented as an option) that the tours are finalised a week in advance and we would therefore be charged in full if we did not attend the East Kelowna wine tour. We responded to point out that the change they were seeking to make was only two days out for the date we had paid for, and that we had not been given an option. I tried to call to get clarification and received no reply. We sent another message to ask whether it was possible to accommodate us but again, we were completely blanked. Due to Vivid Tours’ shocking service we were left with no option but to secure a last minute tour with an alternative company (it was brilliant) and not knowing whether we would be unjustifiably charged for a tour we did not book and were forced onto, which was stressful and unnecessarily put a dampener on our limited time in Kelowna. I’m sure the East Kelowna wine tour is lovely and we may have been happy to go ahead with it if we just had received an explanation for the switch and some detail about the tour but the customer service and lack of communication was so appalling we felt we couldn’t go ahead with the tour. We’re not trying to be unreasonable or difficult but just wanted to give a fair warning to others looking to book with Vivid, particularly if you are set on booking a specific tour.

Great vineyards. Great value. Tasty wines. Great bf, gf, or bff activity. Highly recommend. Five stars.

We had a great time on the wine tour, the transport and service from the guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and informative, the wineries were excellent and all very good value for the money. Thank you
