Wild Coast Bike and EBike Tour i Kinsale Cork Irland

Detta är en fantastisk halvdags guidad cykel som låter dig uppleva det fantastiska kustlandskapet på Wild Atlantic Way. Turen tar dig ner till uddar och längs vilda stränder genom den frodiga, gröna irländska landsbygden. Du kommer att se kor som betar på fälten och grödor som majs glöda och vaja i vinden. Vi börjar vid Lusitania Museum/Old Head Signal Tower med utsikt över Old Head Gold Links, Corks hamn och det vackra området West Cork. Vi cyklar längs två stränder innan vi stannar i en traditionell irländsk pub i byn Ballinspittle. Här njuter vi av en te/kaffe eller läsk innan vi återvänder med cykel genom mer fantastiska landskap till vår startpunkt. Turen går ut på att cykla i måttligt kuperad terräng. Det är lämpligt för par, grupper och familjer med äldre barn. För grupper kan den exakta resvägen skräddarsys efter dina behov. Cyklar och elcyklar är försedda med hjälm och högsiktsväst.

Vår mötesplats! Detta är ett litet museum, inrymt i ett gammalt utsiktstorn. Det finns ett litet café och toaletter.
När vi cyklar följer vi en del av Wild Atlantic Way, en 2 600 km (1 600 mil) markerad körväg längs Irlands kust. Denna rutt har valts ut för att följa områdets bästa landskap och kulturella och historiska upplevelser.
Vi cyklar längs med denna vilda strand och njuter ofta av att se människor simma och göra andra vattensporter som surfing och kiteboarding.
Vi stannar för en te/kaffe eller läsk på en pub i den färgglada byn Ballinspittle. Det finns en ölträdgård där vi kan sitta ute om vädret är bra.
Resterande tid går åt till att cykla genom landsbygden.
Vi avslutar vår turné tillbaka där vi började vid Old Head of Kinsale. Varför inte gå in på museet och besöka takterrassen för mer fantastisk utsikt över området?

Our guide, Ruth, was amazing! The entire experience was wonderful. I highly recommend.
Ruth was extremely helpful with getting our bikes booked and ready, she is so responsive to emails and was on hand on the phone when needed. The bikes were excellent quality and perfect for a cycle along the coastline - E bikes recommend for those hills ! The views were stunning and Ruth recommended the perfect route. This is a must do excursion in Kinsale. Thanks Ruth :)

Small group tour on a mix of electric and normal bikes. Casual. Informative. Useful workout! Super coffee stop with view of fabulous Head of Kinsale. Tour lenght was just right and finished on time. Ruth was a great guide/leader. Thanks

We booked the e-bikes for three 50-something aged couples of mixed biking/athletic ability. The “pedal assist” bikes were easy to use and made the tour struggle free for everyone. I hadn’t rode a bike in 40 years, but all of my nerves dissipated minutes after I started riding. Our tour guide, Ruth, was amazing. She took us along the coast, through a forest, and along scenic back roads. Her historical and cultural knowledge of the area is unmatched. Most of all, Ruth was patient and kept us safe on the bikes and roads. Our stop at the cafe gave us time to enjoy truly delicious scones, tea and cappuccino, as well as breath taking views of beaches and the water. I highly recommend making this tour part of your itinerary if you are visiting the Kinsale area. Worth every penny, and you will feel like you accomplished some real physical activity, even though the bikes are set to do all the “work” for you if you want them to.

Ruth and her colleagues were 10/10. They handled our big group of 25 with such ease and care! It was a way to explore that we wouldn’t have been able to experience otherwise. Everyone is still talking reminiscing about it. Would recommend everyone do it!
