Resplan

We are so happy that we decided to use Sidetrip for our transfer from Vienna to Prague in early December 2025. The booking process was simple and the email updates before the actual trip helped reduce the worry about what we specifically had to do. (Make sure you have WhatsApp on your mobile so your guide/driver can communicate with you.). The van was very comfortable for our group of five, and Jana was a wonderful guide/driver. It was so much fun when we stopped at a gas station and she told us what local drinks and snacks to try out. She also pointed us to a tiny cafe in Cesky Krumlov that served the best eggnog and hot chocolate that we had during our two weeks in Europe! Our walk through Cesky Krumlov was informative and relaxed, and Jana was kind enough to take photos of our group at several locations. We really enjoyed the trip, and wholeheartedly recommend Sidetrip and Jana for this tour!
Our family group had a fabulous experience traveling with Pav! The towns we visited were enchanting. We all highly recommend this tour to enhance your jaunt from Vienna to Prague!
This is an excellent way to see more of Austria and Czech Republic (and Germany ) on a short trip. We were travelling with a large group of family and friends across two vans with Martin and Adam (on leg 1 from Vienna to Prague) and then had the good fortune to get Martin again - this time with Petra for a second trip from Prague to Munich a few days later. They clearly loved their jobs and their country and were happy to share lots of information with us, including recommendations for places to eat and visit after our tour which were on point. The vans are basic but spacious and quite comfortable and pick ups and drop offs to accommodation worked very well and on schedule - highly recommended as an alternative to getting a point to point train if you have the time for a side trip.
Martin was amazing! He is so knowledgeable and authentically shared the history along our trip from Vienna to Prague. His passion for his work comes is evident. He even followed up the next day with links to his favorite food/drink locations we talked about during the trip. 5 star!
Mike was great! He took the time to get to know us so that he could structure the stops around our interests. It was such an enjoyable day. Highly recommend it!
My Husband & I had the best time traveling with Jacub as our driver & tour guide. From booking until end of trip in Prague, everyone with SideTrip was professional, friendly, and helpful. They go out of there way for you. The stops they make in the country side are amazing. . They beat our expectations by 100%. We will definitely use SideTrip’s in future day trips. Thanks a million to Jacub!
This was such a great way to turn a boring travel day (relocating from Vienna to Prague) into an adventure. We saw many beautiful locations along the way, but the real highlight was our guide, Zuzana. She was so insightful, patient and kind throughout the long 10 hour day. We traveled with children who needed frequent bathroom stops; something Zuzana easily accommodated. She gave us a wonderful insight into growing up in Slovakia after the Velvet Revolution, explaining the different sub-cultures that have combined and divided again in the former Czechoslovakia. Best of all, Zuzana did not work to a fixed script, but just chatted easily about any topic we raised with her. This made the journey time pass surprisingly quickly in such a pleasant and friendly fashion. SideTrip Tours are lucky to have her.
My family of 4 happened to be lucky enough to be the only ones travelling on this trip but I don't think a full tour of 8 would have made the experience any less enjoyable. Our guide, Peter, was friendly, accommodating and informative also a very good driver which helped everyone feel comfortable and safe. It was very cold on the day of our trip so we dashed around the stop off points pretty quickly to get back to the warmth of the minivan. As we were the only group, Peter was happy to make a change to our itinerary so we could visit Kutna Hora which is usually done on the trip going the other way. We got finished and into Prague a couple of hours early and Peter even dropped us at our hotel instead of the drop off point In the city. So in summary it was an excellent way to travel between Vienna and Prague to get a better feel of the Czech landscape and if you're lucky, you'll get Peter as your guide.
This tour is a great way to see the smaller towns that would have been difficult to access unless you self-drive. We had a great time with our guide Zuzana. In winter, sky gets dark by 3+pm, and she drove us safely in the dark to Prague. Thanks for the tour.
Sidetrip turned my journey from Vienna to Prague into a full day adventure. There were only four other people on my tour which meant that the stops and information were very personalized. I really appreciated the information and stories that Jakub provided as we moved through the Czech countryside. I was able to see places I never would have otherwise. The feeling of being some of the only people at Lednice on a cold, wintery day was truly magical. I would highly recommend Sidetrip to anybody as it truly feels like you are visiting with a friend. I hope to take another Sidetrip tour soon!
