Hämtas från ditt boende någonstans i Dublin. Vi börjar din dag genom att ta kustvägen söderut av Dublin genom hamnen i Dun Laoghaire och sedan genom Sandycove, hem till James Joyce Martello Tower och Museum öppet för allmänheten.
Sedan vidare genom den pittoreska byn Dalkey och Vico Road, hem till många kändisar som Bono, Enya och Van Morrison för att nämna några.
Vi går sedan in i County Wicklow, "The Garden of Ireland". Vårt första stopp är den magnifika Powerscourt Estate, noterad för sitt hus och trädgårdar. Powerscourt House röstades i de 10 största husen av National Geographic och trädgårdarna röstade i de tre största trädgårdarna av National Geographic. För närvarande ägs av den ikoniska Slazenger-familjen, gården går tillbaka till 1200-talet. 1974 slogs huset av en eld. Vid 1996 återställdes den delvis till sin ursprungliga ära och är nu öppen för allmänheten tillsammans med de andetagande trädgårdarna. Det är känt som ett av Irlands bästa ställen att besöka.

Eftersom det här är en privat rundtur har du möjlighet att besöka andra delar av Wicklow som Powerscourt vattenfall. Ställ vid foten av Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt vattenfall är Irlands högsta på 121m (398ft.) Och ligger 5km från Powerscourt Estate och Gardens. Det finns gott om vilda djur att njuta av vid vattenfallet, inklusive fåglar som takfisk, gök, ravn och pilgrimsfiskare och Sika-hjortan. Du kan till och med upptäcka en röd ekorre eller två.
Därifrån leder vi genom Wicklows böljande kullar och dalar till Glendaloughs "Valley of 2 Lakes", St Kevins hem. I den nedre glen hittar du den antika monastiska staden byggd av St Kevins anhängare och ser resterna av katedralen, runda tornet och St. Kevins kyrka samt kyrkogården och olika bostäder.
Vi går tillbaka till Dublin via Militärvägen genom Wicklow och Dublin Mountains. När du passerar genom myrmarken som kallas Fjäderbäddarna kommer du att se Loch Dan och Loch Tay, och den berömda Guinness-egendomen.
Vi avslutar dagen på Dublin Mountains vid Johnnie Fox's Pub, den högsta puben i Irland där du kan njuta av en ny pint Guinness!

Kieron is a very patient guide and safe driver. He provides insights to the places we visit and we gains a better understanding through his sharing. Johnnie Fox's pub and seafood restaurant has a very unique and distinctive design and layout. Food served is tasty too.

Kieron provided an amazing tour, not only making sure to show us the must-see tourist locations, but also customizing our tour per our personal requests. A big highlight of the tour was a final meal and drinks at Johnny Fox’s, the highest pub in Ireland…delicious!!!

Unfortunately our tour didn’t start off great. No one was there to collect us, so I called the company who said he was already there, once I went and asked all the guides waiting, I found Timothy but he’d been given the wrong name. He was very informative and we had a great day but the fact that his hearing aids (Which I also wear) were broken and he wasn’t going to replace them, made it very difficult, as he couldn’t hear any of our questions.

Fantastic day exploring the Wicklow area, plenty to see and do. Visited the fabulous Powercourt Gardens, Waterfall, Ancient Monestry ruins and lunch at the Heather Restaurant which was fabulous
May you be fortunate enough to have this car service in your lifetime! And if you're really lucky, a beautiful man named, BOBBY CARPRANI as you driver! We requested a van for 5 and an eight hour scenic drive through mid- Ireland. What we received was a friend forever and the most genuine human touch, you could ever imagine. From the first point of contact, expert-level professionalism and organizing was thoughtfully in place. This company's administration is awesome! We spent the day yesterday touring the Wicklow Mountains Glendalough and Powerscourt. Our tour guide William was a great guide with a great deal of local knowledge. He was good at allowing us plenty of time to explore at each stop. He picked the perfect spot for lunch that was a fantastic local restaurant. All in all a fun day

I could not have been happier with this tour or with Bobby our guide. Bobby was so sweet, so engaging and so accommodating, everything you would hope he would be. We went on the tour with our 2 boys and got to see so much in 7 hours but never felt rushed or like we were in the car forever (we had recently done a private day tour in Scotland and it was nothing close to this and a bit painful towards the end). Saw so many gorgeous spots and had the perfect day. The only disappointment was we didn't book Bobby for more trips!

Glendalough was striking. Cliff was a knowledgeable & courteous driver. The Powerscourt gardens were memorably lush. the waterfall is worth the trip on itsown.

We had a wonderful time with William on this tour. Aside from the amazing scenery and his expert knowledge of the history behind each piece of the tour, he was attentive, courteous and great to chat with. By the end of the day it felt like my wife and I were touring with a friend.
