Ditt besök börjar med en kortfilm i auditoriet, följt av en chans att utforska kulturarvet och upptäck mer om John Dewar & Sons anmärkningsvärda historia. Den här delen av ditt besök är självstyrd med hjälp av ljudguider / ipads, som finns på olika språk. Din erfarna tour guide tar dig med på en rundtur i Aberfeldy Distillery och lager så att du kan lära dig mer om whisky som gör magi! Turnén slutar med en wee dram i whisky lounge för vuxna / seniorer. Förare kan begära ett take-away-paket för att skapa en Maime Taylor-cocktail hemma. Din biljett inkluderar inte transport till / från destilleriet. Destilleriet ligger i utkanten av den pittoreska Aberfeldy, belägen vid floden Tay, 20 minuter från A9 i Highland Perthshire, 90 minuter från Edinburgh. Gratis parkering. Ytterligare smakspres och whisky-cocktails finns i baren. Du kan bläddra i butiken och presentera hela Dewars portfölj tillsammans med exklusiva single-cask-flaskor med begränsad upplaga och fylla din egen flaska med en speciellt utvald flaska av Aberfeldy Single Malt. Turer genomförs hela dagen, presentera din kupong vid ankomst. Observera att den senaste resan är 1 timme före stängning, men vi rekommenderar att du tillåter 1,5 timmar för ditt besök. Det finns ett café på plats, men din biljett ingår inte mat - bokning är inte nödvändigt för caféet. Som ett traditionellt arbetsdestilleri måste besökare bära förnuftigt skor på destilleriet (ingen höga klackar eller öppna skor). Tyvärr är hundar (förutom hjälphundar) inte tillåtna i besökare eller destilleri. Besökscentret och kulturarvet är fullt tillgängligt, men på grund av distillerybyggnadens historiska natur kan turnén anpassas för mindre mobila besökare. Excellent small group tour, led by Craig who was funny friendly and informative. The tasting was an education for me as an occasional whisky drinker and it clearly worked as I bought some very nice bottles to send home to east anglia.

Wonderful tour and sampling conducted by our very knowledgeable and friendly guide. After the excellent AV presentation we could explore the museum at our own pace. We then went through the entire process leading to the distillation of Dewars whisky. We were guided through the sampling in a most knowledgeable and entertaining manner by John. We ended up in the cafe bistro which we could highly recommend.

A really enjoyable and informative tour around the distillery with John the tour guide. I’d definitely recommend this as something to do while in aberfeldy. John was brilliant, able to answer any question you have and a bit of craic.

Myself and friends visiting from the USA took the Whisky Explorer Experience tour and it was excellent from the video at the start to the tasting experience at the end. Our guide Craig was very entertaining and very informative and was happy to answer any questions we had. The bar was a nice setting enjoy more excellent malts after the tour and the range of malts available to buy was very impressive indeed,

Great experience. Served at our beck and call in a charming setting. The 2 bartenders Jim and Craig were experts and knew how to promote their quality whiskey without being intrusive. This will leave us with an unforgettable memory.
