Flynn, our tour guide did an amazing job! He was soooo informative, helpful and very knowledgeable in all things Weta. He is a total asset! We came down to Wellington for Father’s Day weekend for my husband. And we had a total blast! He couldn’t stop raving about it to people. Cheers Flynn and team.
Very entertaining, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Small tour group size was perfect. Interactivity and exhibits were awesome.
We did not really know what to expect, but it was a great experience. Our tour guide was super funny and gave us great insights and insider stories into the movie business and effect making. You get to visit the real workshop where actual people are working on current projects, combined with a very well made exhibition and staged presentations, combined with thousands of artifacts you know very well from your favorite movies. Really a great time spent especially on a rainy day.
Bianca, the guide for us, was really good and funny which made the entire tour really fun!!

Fab place to visit. Incredible all the props and make up etc that have been created in this work space. A definite must visit if you are interested in film

I did the workshop tour with Sharese. She was such an awesome guide - very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and funny! I loved hearing the in-depth process of creating props/costumes & prosthetics. I had no idea how many films Weta Workshop has been involved in & I learned so much. Would love to visit again. I highly recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Wellington.

Had a fantastic time at Wētā Workshop. Our guide, Finn, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience engaging from start to finish. There were plenty of great opportunities to take photos, and the behind‑the‑scenes insights were a real highlight. Highly recommend.

Our guide Fin(?) was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic which was lovely! Great exhibits but the time spent in each area was far too short.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and well-rehearsed. She made the experience fun by interacting with the guests. Professor tin foil looked the part and also had some good stories. Overall, a great experience being close up with the exhibits and better than I expected.We had been to the Gallipoli exhibition at the museum and we couldnt believe how lifelike the people Weta created were.A very moving experience. Also with the Weta Workshop, as an engineer i appreciated the workmanship and detail. If we have people visiting from overseas I would recommend they take the tour. We had no idea how many movies Weta has been involved with.
