Vi lämnar Perth på väg österut till Darling Range, även känd som Perth-kullarna, genom charmiga townships, nationalparker och jordbruksmark på väg till den historiska staden York, den första bosättningen i västra Australien. I York tar vi en paus och njuter av en avkopplande promenad längs den pittoreska Avon Terrace, visar fantastiska exempel på viktoriansk arkitektur och federationsarkitektur, besöker det majestätiska York Town Hall and Theatre och den hängande bron över Avon River.
Vi fortsätter att köra genom wheatbelt-regionen, som kännetecknas av dess sömniga städer och stora färgglada jordbruksmark. Kort stopp vid den unika Corrigin Dog Cemetery och vid den inspirerande Statyes Lake i Kondinin
Ett surrealistiskt landskap med inhemska träd och salt sjö som visar fantastiska färger. Observera att under torrperioden kan sjön vara helt torr men erbjuder fortfarande fantastiska möjligheter till bra bilder.

Sergio picked us up promptly at our hotel lobby 8AM. The stunning landscapes, stopovers, medical and travel stories made the long drive enjoyable. Very thoughtful, Sergio had bottled water in a cooler in his immaculate, spacious van & plenty lollies! We brought those lollies home & everybody loved them. We had fun reviewing the cafes to/from Wave Rock too ... hahaha! The Wave Rock is a must-see, one of a kind. Even w/ a bum right knee I was able to walk up the steel stairs up to the 1st level of this rock formation. Every stop in this itinerary is carefully planned to make most of a 12 hour tour & still chill. We arrived Perth City safely around 930PM & were dropped- off at Italian St. Kitchen for our late dinner, a short walk from our hotel. Expert & safe driving all the way. Although it was a long day, everything went as scheduled. Sergio was very nice and kind, and driving safely. Wave Rock was sort of what we imagined, but when we climbed up the rock, we enjoyed even more impressive view from the huge rock.
We enjoy immensely the spectacular scene of the wave rock which is a unique geological feature not found elsewhere in the globe. He possessed in-depth knowledge of the localities and communities which are sparsely populated as our tiny city of Hong Kong with 1100 km2 area is crowded with 7 million people. We are awakened our basic duty to love the nature. What a good wake up call. The natural wonder gave us don't memories in the future. We highly appreciate Sergio's extremely attentive and caring service for us elderly couple. He cleans the windscreen and side windows during the breaks to facilitate us to take clearer pictures .

We had the most wonderful time on this tour because Sergio made it so special. He was polite & courteous, as well as very knowledgeable. He was understanding & accommodated my daughter’s needs who has autism. We were able to have lots of conversations regarding many topics.. The tour was catered to our personal needs.
