Från det första steget i ditt guidade äventyr kommer jag att dela fascinerande historier om San Antonios historia, kultur, arkitektur och personligheter, inklusive bakgrundshistorien om Riverwalk, ett hotell som bogserades genom stadens gator, ett annat som fick rummen upplyfta och staplade på varandra, och jag kommer att dela vad som hände under belägringen och slaget vid Alamo 1836. Det finns Tower of the Americas, San Fernando Cathedral, vår Lovelock Bridge, det mest hemsökta hotellet i San Antonio, den pittoreska Arneson River Theater, och Marriage Island, där över 300 par knyta knuten årligen. Hör historien om belägringen och slaget vid Alamo, vad som hände och varför vi minns det idag. Du kommer att stå framför detta världsberömda National Historic Landmark. Detta är inte en tur genom Alamo.
Detta är symbolen för världsutställningen, känd som "Hemisfair" som hölls i San Antonio 1968. Över 6 miljoner människor besökte staden för att uppleva världsutställningen. Den är 750 fot hög och tornar upp sig över stadens silhuett.
Promenera bland de höga cypresserna och hör historien om den historiska Riverwalk. Ta ett foto på den berömda Selena-bron, besök Marriage Island, den söta Arneson River Theatre och så många andra höjdpunkter på Riverwalk.
Denna utomhusteater, byggd 1940, ligger på San Antonio Riverwalk och är skådeplatsen för flodparader, underhållning .... och filmer. Här ligger också den vackra Rositabron.
Denna höga skulptur är en ikon för San Antonio. Det var en gåva till staden för att visa vänskapen mellan tre nationer. Designad av Sebastian, denna 65-tum höga skulptur anlände till staden 2002.

Det är en av de äldsta katedralerna i USA och går tillbaka till tidigt 1700-tal. Påven Johannes Paulus II besökte katedralen under sitt besök i San Antonio, och Jim Bowie gifte sig där.
Det är den äldsta krogen på Riverwalk och öppnade 1933. Förutom att vara den perfekta platsen att "skåda på folk" på Riverwalk, har den en öldränkt träbar som är 100 fot lång.
Förmodligen den mest älskade byggnaden i San Antonio, och dess Richardsonska romanska arkitektur har en unik bikupa kupol. Hör historien om hur det kom till.....och varför det är väldigt populärt en speciell dag varje år.
Se den ikoniska restaurangen vid floden med de färgglada paraplyerna. Den stoltserar med att vara den första restaurangen som öppnade på Riverwalk och går tillbaka till 1946. En fantastisk plats att njuta av att promenera på mariachis också.

This is one of the best city tours I’ve been on. Stewart, the tour guide is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and most importantly very respectful to everyone in our tour group. He provided a great overview of downtown San Antonio and a comprehensive history of the river walk. I highly recommend this tour.

Great tour even with terrible weather. It rained the entire time but the tour was amazing so I did not mind the rain. Better pictures with less people. Great information on the tour

Fantastic guide, informative & comprehensive tour of the downtown area. A must-do for visitors to the city! Stewart was amazing as our tour guide. We have been to San Antonio a handful of times and have enjoyed seeing many sights of the city. Stewart took this visit to the next level with his fun and informative tour. We learned things about The Alamo, Riverwalk, and various other stops along our route that we had never heard before! Our family was a group of 8; our youngest child was 3 and oldest 16. All our kids enjoyed this activity and though I was a bit apprehensive about taking a stroller for our 3 and 4 yr olds due to many stairs along the Riverwalk; we brought small very lightweight foldable umbrella strollers along that quickly fold up (actually we didn’t even bother to fold them, just simply carried the strollers up a flight of stairs or two) and it worked beautifully. Our littles jumped right in/out of their stroller and it saved their legs from being tired. Stewart was patient and understanding to adjust to our kiddos needs and it was much appreciated. Book this tour, you will not be disappointed. Whether it’s your first visit to the city or you’ve been several times I almost guarantee you’ll learn something new and have a great time doing so!

Our walking tour was led by Stewart, who is surprisingly an Aussie, that has been living in San Antonio for the past 25 years and has a passion and enthusiasm for the city's history. He made the tour fun and interesting and we learned a lot about the city through his guidance. We enjoyed seeing the Riverwalk area, Alamo, and nearby sights and recommend it to others who enjoy walking, seeing the sights, and learning some interesting history.

Stewart’s walking tour was absolutely fantastic! He is highly engaging, funny and so knowledgeable about San Antonio and is continuously learning more to add to his tour. Stewart included rest stops and a coffee stop adding to the relaxed pace of the tour. He catered for various mobility levels of the group members.
