Upptäck några av de största attraktionerna i Wadi Rum-öknen på denna privata 4x4 bekväma jeeptur. Visdomens sju pelare reser sig ur öknen som en stendikt – sju höga åsar formade av århundraden av vind och tid. Förevigad av T.E. Lawrence, de står som en inkörsport till Wadi Rums berättelser, där historia och legend möts under ökensolen.
Den röda sanddynen, även känd som Al Ramal eller Al Hasany på arabiska, är en av de mest kända sanddynerna i Wadi Rum-öknen. IT: s slående röda färg kommer från en hög koncentration av järnoxid i sandpartiklarna. Utmanande att klättra men på toppen kan du njuta av fantastisk panoramautsikt över dalen. Detta område är känt som nyckelinspelningsplatsen för den berömda marsianska filmen
Du kommer att besöka Lawrence’s House – en stenbyggnad byggd ovanpå antika Nabataean ruiner av en vattencistern. Legenden säger att T.E. Lawrence bodde här under den arabiska revolten. Dess vittrade väggar håller fortfarande ekon av uppror, vänskap och ökennätter.
I skuggan av ökenklippan kan du lära dig hemligheterna med att laga en traditionell beduinmåltid. Njut av en fräsch, rejäl lunch i stillheten mitt på dagen, med oändlig utsikt över öknen framför dig. Senare kommer vi att gå för att se gamla Nabatean inskriptioner inristade i Wadi Rum sten. Nabatéerna — en arabisk nomadstam som bosatte sig i Jordanien och bortom (4-talet f.Kr. — 106 e.Kr.) — var mästerliga vatteningenjörer och skickliga handelsmän. I århundraden navigerade de i dessa vidsträckta länder genom att läsa kartor krypterade i klipporna och lämnade efter sig meddelanden som fortfarande talar till dem som lyssnar.
Du kommer att klättra Um Fruth Rock Bridge, en av Wadi Rums mest ikoniska landmärken - en naturlig båge skulpterad av vind och vatten under otaliga århundraden. IT reser sig cirka 15 meter över ökenbotten och känns som en upphöjd gångväg mellan jorden och himlen, med hisnande utsikt i alla riktningar.
Bland Wadi Rums många märkliga och vackra klippformationer står Mushroom Rock – en naturskulptur formad av vind och tid. IT ligger ensamt på en röd klippplatå och omges av vågor av karmosinröd sand, och är ett av öknens mest fotograferade underverk.
Du kommer att utforska Al Burrah Canyon, en av de mest besökta av de många kanjoner som väver genom Wadi Rum. Denna 5 km höga korridor med höga klippor skär djupt in i bergen och erbjuder utrymme för vandring, kamelvandring, klättring eller helt enkelt vila i den svala skuggan. Här, i öknens gömda innerstad, känns luften stilla och tiden rör sig annorlunda.
På vår familjs Wadi Rum Desert Secret Camp : - Lär dig att inrätta ett beduinkök i den öppna öknen och laga en traditionell måltid till lunch. - Träffa och klappa försiktigt våra kameler och getter. - Vandra ett närliggande berg för att se solen gå upp eller ner över oändliga sand och sten. - Till middag kan du välja mellan en grillfest under stjärnorna eller en klassisk beduinmåltid på lägret. - Smutta på sött beduinskt te runt lägerelden medan vi delar berättelser om vårt liv – historia, religion, seder, bröllop, familj, pastorala traditioner och öknens helande växter. - Njut av stjärnskådning och lugna stunder under ökenhimlen. - Sov under stjärnorna eller i ett privat tält med badrum i västerländsk stil. - Vakna till doften av nybryggt kaffe och hemlagad frukost innan vi eskorterar dig tillbaka till Wadi Rum Visitor Centre. Förutom våra jeepturer, stjärnskådning och guidade vandringar erbjuder vi valfria autentiska beduinska livsstilsupplevelser, inklusive: - Traditionell beduin kaffebryggare - Bröd bakning med beduin män eller kvinnor (kan du tänka dig - de är olika! ) - Beduinvävning och hantverk - Kamelmjölk, getostproduktion - Kamelturer. Dessa speciella aktiviteter är ett sätt för oss att stödja lokalsamhället, särskilt kvinnor, genom att ge dem möjligheter att dela med sig av sina kunskaper och berättelser – och tjäna sitt uppehälle. o Observera : Dessa aktiviteter erbjuds på särskild begäran och måste ordnas i förväg. Our absolutely top experience in Jordan. The authenticity of the experience is undescribable. We did the desert tour with Mohammed, who was an overall great tour. After the tour we had a time for ourselves which we used for a quick, very needed , nap. Dinner was so called "upside down" which was delicious and frankly much better than the one we had in a restaurant in the city. We spent the evening by fire in a Bedouin tent with Mohammed, his brother Ali and their father and it was absolutely awesome. We chatted, drank their delicious tea and they even prepared us a Bedouin style coffee. Without exaggeration one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Muhammad has been very nice with me and my girlfriend. The tent had everything we needed: spacious, comfortable, new. Simply perfect. We had dinner with him: he prepared some delicious food (special mention for chicken bbq). Then we had the possibility to spend the night around the fireplace, conversating and disconnecting from routine. The next day he took with him to have a desert tour that was simply lovely. We met great people in the camp and we created a unique bond with him. I’ll surely come to visit him in the future

Best experience of our entire stay in Jordan! We had the chance to discover the legendary hospitality of the Bedouins thanks to Ali and his team, who did everything to make our stay unforgettable. We came across Desert Secret Camp a little by chance, on the advice of travelers we met in Aqaba, and booked a four-hour jeep ride as soon as we arrived in Wadi Rum. The experience was incredible. The desert is splendid and our guide, Abdulah, of rare kindness, has made sure that every moment counts. The camp offers many activities: jeep tours, hiking, climbing the highest peak of the desert, sandboarding and more. Meals, whether lunch in the desert or dinner at the camp, were tasty and generous. In the evening, we shared tea around the fire listening to Ali’s stories and Bedouin songs. It was a magical and timeless moment. Originally, we booked the night in another more “commercial” camp, but faced with hidden fees, we decided to cancel and gladly accepted Ali’s invitation to sleep at Desert Secret Camp. The “tents” are actually spacious, fully equipped and very comfortable high-end bungalows. Ali’s kindness, generosity and sincerity touched us deeply. We could not have dreamed better. This was my second time to Wadi Rum and the second time with Ali as the host. The first time was in 2023 and included a 4-hour jeep tour plus a night in the camp for a group of three. I liked it so much that when I came to Jordan again in 2025, in a group of ten, we decided to go again with Ali for a full day tour, plus a night at the camp. I was a bit worried that I will just relive the experience from two years back, but I rationalized this by thinking that my family & friends, who were there for the first time, will have an incredible treat. I could not have been more wrong about the first part. I experienced the desert as if for the first time. I saw some completely new, fascinating places (I think only one overlapped between the two trips), Ali cooked us lunch in the middle of nowhere from scratch (it wasn't pre-made), made us feel part of his family when we sat around the fire at night, listened to Bedouin stories and songs and passed the bread and Bedouin tea. We spent the night under the stars, and early in the morning climbed up to see the sunrise. On our way back, we even staged a race between two pickups (because we were a group of ten, we moved in two pickups), which was also amazing and made a great video when put together from all cameras from both pickups. If (or rather when) I'm in Wadi Rum the third time, it will be once more with Ali!
