Machu Picchu, som på spanska betyder "gammalt berg", är det mest kända inkacitadellet i världen. Beläget 110 km nordost om Cusco, i provinsen Urubamba. Denna arkitektoniska juvel är omgiven av tempel, plattformar och vattenkanaler. För att kunna besöka Machu Picchu har Inca Rail tre startpunkter: Stationerna i San Pedro i Cusco, Poroy och Ollantaytambo varifrån du kan gå ombord på valfritt tåg till Machu Picchu Pueblo-stationen. På samma sätt erbjuder den sin Bimodal-tjänst som kombinerar resor med den exklusiva bussen, som avgår från Av. El Sol 843, nära Plaza de Armas till Ollantaytambo för att gå ombord på tåget till Machu Picchu Pueblo. Bimodaltjänsten är tillgänglig året runt. Mellan januari och april föreslås att du avgår med Bimodal-tjänsten, eftersom det på grund av väderförhållandena inte kommer att vara möjligt att avgå från tågstationerna San Pedro och Poroy.

Great service and well coordinated by Inca rail. We had the best guide, Luis, who shared all amazing history about Incas and machupicchu through his wonderful stories. Only reason I haven’t given this 5 stars is because I wish the train was direct from Cusco to Aguas Callientes, vs only until ollantaytambo.
Machu Picchu was the realization of an ancient dream. I was pleased with the train trips, the additional bus transfer, and the attention of the guide Gabi, who made beautiful records of my visit, in addition to giving important explanations about the place.
We really enjoyed the tour. The guide Jessica was very professional and attentive to us.

Excellent service and great willingness to help. I want to especially thank Carlos from the Inca Rail branch on Av. The Sun, Cusco. We had an exceptional situation and needed to modify our ticket. Carlos assisted us with great kindness, understood the problem, and sought a solution quickly and professionally. His management made a significant difference in our trip. It is evident when a person truly cares about providing good service and helping the customer beyond the basics. Very grateful to Carlos and to Inca Rail for the attention received. Horrible experience. I am a solo female traveler. I arrived at the Inca Rail station an hour early. When my train arrived, security denied me access to my train. I was told to wait for the next train. I waited for over an hour. I then returned the ticket counter to ask why I was denied access to my train. I spoke with the same attendant that had checked me in over an hour ago. The ticket counter attendant stated he doesn't know why I was denied access and that I would need to buy another ticket. I was being charged twice without any explanation as to why I was denied access. I was not offered a refund or a new ticket. Inca Rail spoke with security to confirm that security had denied me access in error. All Inca Rail would say is that it was the security guards error and that I will need to pay for a ticket AGAIN or go with a different carrier. I decided to go with a different carrier.

We went in June as a group of friends. We visited several places, including Machu Picchu. Our tour guide was Mijael Fernandez. Excellent tour guide and excellent service. If we were to return, we would be delighted for him to be our guide. 100% recommended. Very helpful, with excellent information.

The whole experience was great, from contact with the incarail via WhatsApp to the tour guide maritza who was extremely polite, friendly and professional. Buying the onibus and guide in the package was great, as we didn't have to worry about knowing where to buy onibus, schedules and how to get a guide. We had support at all times.
