Du kommer att träffa din guide framför Vatikanmuseerna. Du kommer in i Vatikanen som, trots att du är ett av de minsta länderna i världen, innehåller ett komplex av museer, vars värde är svårt att kvantifiera. Först av allt, du kommer att beundra Belvedere och Pigna (pinecone) gården, då kommer du att uppskatta bildgalleriet. Den innehåller en fantastisk samling som innehåller Giotto, Perugino, Leonardo, Caravaggio, Dali ... omöjligt att beskriva på några få rader! Följ guiden till huvudutställningarna. Observera att Sixtinska kapellet, med sitt valv dekorerat av Michelangelo, Vatikanmuseerna och Rafaels rum kommer att vara öppna för allmänheten under hela denna period. Hela väggen i den Yttersta Domen kommer dock att täckas av byggnadsställningar för att möjliggöra en komplicerad och känslig restaureringsprocess.

The private tour gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the wonders and splendor of the Vatican Musea in a more personal manner. Of course there are a lot of people around but this formula allows for a more relaxed experience. Our guide Massimo was very good with excellent knowledge of the many treasures on display in the magnificent hallways. Also his extensive knowledge about the history in general of the Vatican and the popes brought life to tour. He allowed us a private moment to enjoy the Sistine Chapel which was very nice for a Michelangelo fan such as myself.

Massimo was an excellent tour guide! Massimo’s breadth of knowledge about Vatican City as a whole elevated this tour experience beyond the vast knowledge he knows about the Museums. It is also important to point out that with being a private tour, he was able to curate an experience specifically to exactly what I was wanting to see. If I were to come back and do it all over again I would want Massimo to be my tour guide. Being a solo traveler having a one to one experience through Vatican City allowed me to appreciate a deeper love for the history that was involved. I cannot thank Massimo enough for one of the best experiences of my entire European Trip.
