This was a nice relaxing ride at end of long, hot day. Our guide was amazing, she was a historian and was able to answer any question we had. I sadly cannot remember her name (long trip) but I know her son's name is Cosimo. Lorenzo our rower was super friendly and nice. Easy meeting point. Highly recommend this tour and company.
This was such a beautiful way to experience the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno River! Our guide, Irene, was phenomenal. My boyfriend proposed during the tour and she was the sweetest about the whole thing!

Our boat driver didn't show and the person on the dock had no knowledge of our tour and the phone number we had went to a recording. We got there early, waited til 15 minutes after the start in the heat and gave up, This was after they changed our original time from 8 to 7. It was a total waste of time, We reached out for a refund of course and got notified we would get one but got ZERO apology and lost the opportunity to do this
Dear 970jjv I am very sorry for what happened. The fact is that you never met our guide who was supposed to take your group to the dock and take care of all the reservation issues (speak with the assistant, boat driver, find the correct reservation etc) You went to ther dock ON YOUR OWN. The boat was reserved under the name Italian Vista Travel, as usual, but you showed a Viator voucher with your name which created some confusion to the boat company, who didn't find the reservation under those names. They spent some minutes checking the booking, but you didn't want to wait until the issue was solved, thus 10 minutes. You simply left the dock, maybe with some more minutes of patience, the misunderstanding would have been solved. AND If you had waited for our guide there wouldn't have been any issues, that's why we always provide a guide to assist our clients with these formalities and avoid this kind of misunderstandings.
We had a spectacular time on the sunset cruise! The views were absolutely lovely and our family of five soaked in the experience of the beauty of Florence the entire ride. We were also lucky enough to have Caterina as our guide, whom we had met several years ago on a similar tour. Running into her was like seeing family again! She was so entertaining, warm, knowledgeable and funny that my youngest daughter said that it was the highlight of her trip to Italy so far to spend time with her again! Everyone facilitating the tour was courteous, kind and helpful and contributed to the joyful feeling of the magical evening. We left the tour delighted, refreshed, and eager to explore the rest of the beautiful night in Florence, with Caterina’s many dinner and gelato recommendations in our minds! Best boat tour ever! Grazie mille, Caterina!
