Highly recommend wineafterwine tours with Simone. The wineries were very accommodating and the lunch was delicious. Simone is very knowledgeable which added to our experience. Would definitely recommend.

Simone was a wonderful oenologist and sommelier who enhanced the knowledge we gained from the 2 wonderful wineries we visited. The trip was so much fun! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time with Simone in Lucca! He picked us up from our accommodation and drove our group to 2 different wineries in the Lucca region. Both places were exceptional and the lunch provided at the first stop was fresh and delicious. It was the perfect blend of having a guided tour but also enough "alone" time for our group to enjoy each other's company, the sceneries and the wine. He was also very accommodating with our daughter that we brought along with us. Hopefully we will be back!

Simone was excellent tour guide; he picked us up at our Villa (extra charge as we were in Barga staying). We had a great time; two nice wineries and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend Simone tour; he answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable.

It was a wonderful day trip to two local wineries. It was peaceful, we tasted several great wines, and learned about the area. Simone was knowledgeable and very friendly. The tours were private and the best part was avoiding any crowds or large groups! The wine was spectacular and a great variety. More food than we expected!

Amazing experience. Simone was a great host and brought my wife and I to two amazing small wineries in the region. His knowledge of wine is unmatched and we both learned a lot. He drove us in his personal vehicle and it was very comfortable and gave him time to tell us all that we needed to know about the area and the wineries we were visiting.

Finding the right experience for wine tasting in the Tuscany seems to come down to either being a bus with a bunch of other people and feeling like rushed through the experience or going solo and trying to figure out how to do it on our own with a car. Then my wife an stumbled upon WINEAFTERWINE with Simone. That changed everything. Simone picked us up in a very comfortable SUV, just the two of us. He took us to some of the smaller wineries, but in return we had a much personalized experience. We didn't feel rushed. He is a sommelier and was able to give us much more of an understanding and history of the wine in Tuscany, which I found fascinating. We also felt like he had the right mix of being fun and personable, but not having to talk evey moment. Now this isn't for everyone. Want a personal experience in a comfortable car? Simone Want to be able to go at your own pace vs being rushed through the event? Simone Want to get a deeper understanding of wine in the Tuscanye region? Simone Want to have a fun, memorable event? Simone Yes, it costs a bit more than the group tour, but for my wife and I, it was well worth the extra cost. I think you will find that to be the case as well.

Simone was a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the region and shared as we drove. He also picked us up where we were staying, which made it so convenient. He chose two wineries which were in the vicinity of where we were staying. Colle di Bordocheo and La Torre wineries were both very welcoming and allowed us to take our time and ask questions. We would definitely do this tour again!
