Vi hämtar upp dig på ditt hotell i Tirana för en kort bilresa ut i den pittoreska landsbygden och lämnar bakom den livliga huvudstaden. Denna tur erbjuder en perfekt flykt, där tradition och gästfrihet blandas för att skapa en oförglömlig upplevelse. Vår destination för idag är en charmig familjeägd vingård inbäddat i en pittoresk by strax utanför staden.
Vid ankomsten till vingården kommer vi att välkomnas varmt av vår passionerade värd. Denna region är känd för den varma gästfriheten hos lokala vinproducenter, som är stolta över att dela sina unika viner och vintillverkningstekniker med besökare. Vi kommer att besöka vingården, där vi kommer att lära oss om vintillverkningens historia i Albanien och de unika lokala druvsorterna som trivs i regionen. Kombinationen av medelhavsklimat och mikroklimatet i centrala Albanien skapar de idealiska förutsättningarna för druvodling, vilket gör detta till en verkligt privilegierad plats. Regionen är känd för några av de 100 inhemska druvsorterna som: Vlosh, Kallmet, Shesh, Pula, Mjaltëz och Kryqës. Vi får också möjlighet att utforska vinkällaren, där familjen producerar och lagrar sina viner, innan vi beger oss till provningsrummet. Du får chansen att njuta av 3 glas distinkta viner tillsammans med ett härligt urval av lokala snacks.
Efter vinprovningen kan du koppla av och njuta av en lugn promenad genom vingårdarna eller njuta av den fantastiska utsikten över den omgivande landsbygden. Senare kör vi tillbaka utför till Tirana, vilket markerar slutet på en fantastisk upplevelse. Oavsett om du är en vinentusiast eller bara letar efter en lugn semester, kommer denna upplevelse att lämna dig med bestående minnen.

Shehi Vila was so beautiful! The owner was so kind and knowledgeable! I would recommend getting a bottle to take home.
What a great day! Beautiful winery on the outskirts of Tirana. I was alone so I got very personalized service, from pick-up and drop-off and everything in between. Great wines and snacks with an incredible view!

We had a private tour to the winery with Altin. Our guide provided us with a lot of information about Albanian history, people and mentality. He was extremely informative. We got to learn a lot. The visit of the winery was also great. The owner shared some insights on the process of making wine, it’s history in Albania. Finally we not only tried the wine, but also Raki, limoncello and a lot more things :))) The owner was very nice to offer us way more than it was announced in the program. And we also were served homemade local food (grilled veggies, cheese, onion pie and olives). Everything was veeeery tasty. We had a very good time ! Thank you.
My daughter and I went on this tour and absolutely loved it! The wine and food were amazing! The winery was so pretty! Our tour guide -Angjelo was fantastic! This was definitely the highlight of our stay in Triana. I would definitely recommend!
Our guide, Altin, was friendly and knowledgeable. The vineyard was quite charming and the wine was excellent (the cheeses were delicious) and the owner was very passionate about his wine and very welcoming. Lovely afternoon not to far from Tirana.
The excursion worked well. I was alone with a nice and talkative guide and the winery was pitoresque. Driving there was ok and the host at the winery was wonderful. Be careful when booking though. Viator displayed the currency in PLN (Poland) instead of ALL (Albania). So the excursion was another price than I thought since I did not notice the wrong currency when booking...
We don’t normally share reviews but we just had to following our experience to the Vila Shehi Winery for a wine tasting tour. Lovely welcome on arrival to the pick-up point by our driver Altin followed by the journey which included lots of information on Albanian sites and the culture. Altin was excellent and spoke good English and really made the trip a special one. We have been on lots of wine tours including Sonoma, Florence and San Diego and have to say this was the best experience we have had. At the winery we got a tour followed by wine tasting outside in the courtyard and got to try a variety of white, rose and red wines plus an orange wine. The wines were excellent so we bought a bottle of the reserve (our favourite), the rose and a bottle of Raki (we got to try 3 types of Raki too). The wines came with an assortment of cheese, bread and carrots (personal favourite) which went very well with the wine and all ingredients were sourced locally. I can’t share how much we enjoyed this tour enough and would recommend to anyone wanting to go on a wine tasting tour in Tirana. I have no doubt that booking through Choose Balkans and having Altin at the winery helped to make the visit extra special. Thank you Altin and Choose Balkans!
This was a fantastic tour with friendly, informative and welcoming guides. We loved the local element of it being a family run vineyard only 30 minutes from Tirana. Would definitely recommend for a fun afternoon out!!
