Denna stora dag ut till södra Sydney slingrar sig genom Australiens äldsta nationalpark, tar in spektakulära kustlandskap längs Grand Pacific Drive, korsar Sea Cliff Bridge, klättrar sedan uppför sandstenssluttningen för att återvända via skogarna och jordbruksmarken i de pittoreska Southern Highlands. Upplevelsen börjar när en vänlig guide hälsar dig vid mötesplatsen. Du kommer att vara en del av en liten grupp på högst 11 resenärer ombord på en bekväm minibuss som tar dig söderut ur staden längs stränderna i Botany Bay och genom Royal National Park. Första stoppet är Bald Hill Lookout, en populär lanseringsplats för hängflygflygplan och paraglidflygplan, som ger en fantastisk utsikt över Illawarra-kusten och den berömda Sea Cliff Bridge. Efter pausen är det bara några minuters bilresa till det familjedrivna Symbio Wildlife Park som är aktivt inom koala bevarande. Här hittar du allt du någonsin velat veta om dessa fascinerande pungdjur under en privat koalaupplevelse med en målvakt. Knäpp den ultimata selfien - bara du och en koala. Du kommer också att kunna mata känguruer och wallabies och komma nära andra inhemska australiska vilda djur. Därefter slingrar du längs Grand Pacific Drive genom Sea Cliff Bridge när den sveper ut över havet, väl klart från de smulande klipporna som den gamla motorvägen klamrade fast vid. Du fortsätter att följa den natursköna kusten till en gyllene strand där du kan njuta av lunch på ett kafé populärt bland lokalbefolkningen med utsikt över havet. Ta dina simmare för ett dopp om solen är ute! På eftermiddagen kommer du upp genom tempererad regnskog till södra höglandet. En enkel vandring leder till utsiktspunkter som tar in de spektakulära sandstensklyftorna och torniga vattenfall i Morton National Park. Slutligen kommer du att köra längs landsvägarna till en boutique-vingård för att prova lokalt producerat, svalt klimatvin innan du återvänder till Sydney. Ankomst tillbaka till Circular Quay är cirka 18:30.

Superb on all counts, great program, a full day of variety, from landscapes to wildlife, with a native Sydney experienced guide, who can engage on so many subjects from history to geography, culture, etc. A truly memorable addition to a short Sydney stay, well worth the full day !

What a wonderful day outside of Sydney. The wildlife part was the biggest highlight, I could have stayed there all day but there was so much more to see. Pro tip though: Bring a jacket!!! It was freezing at the waterfall. Definitely recommend this tour, as long as you bring a jacket.

Wonderful way to meet wildlife and get out of the city! After petting koalas and feeding kangaroos, I felt I had gotten my money’s worth but that was just the start. The day continued with beautiful views and so much information about Australia. Tony was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend to spend a day with Wildlife, Waterfalls, and Wine!

What a fabulous day wandering south of Sydney! Our local guide, Rob was simply the best. From local stories, to a on-time itinerary, with plenty of stops for photos… this was a great experience. We saw the coastline, we traveled winding roads up mountains, we saw local wildlife, beautiful gardens and farms, coastal cafe lunch, a stunning waterfall and finished with a wine tasting. Learned much about this beautiful place along the way! Rob is simply amazing and his enthusiasm for his home comes through all day!

This was a fantastic day trip that really gives a broad flavor of Australia! The wildlife experience was amazing! The animals were accessible and kept beautifully well! The drive to lunch was breathtaking! The waterfall hike was very accessible and the scenery beautiful….even in the rain! The wine tasting was beautiful and the wines were very tasty! The vineyard was fabulous! All done with time for dinner after the tour! Highly recommend!

Our host, Rowan, was excellent. We were given history and local facts that were of great interest to out whole group. The"zoo" amazed us. Hands on with the koala's , the wallaby's and kangaroos. Great lunch! The falls were obscured by clouds but interesting and the winery was fun. Great day! Highly recommend. It's a do over!

Great variety of activities, emphasizing areas south and west of Sydney not covered by many other tours. And I really enjoyed our guide!

I had a very detailed review done but it didn’t save so I’m not going to rewrite it all but it was great! Rohan was great and exceeded expectations. Amazing views, lunch swim, koala, kangaroo, waterfalls, wine! What’s not to love. Ended with 13,000 steps for the day. There is a changing space and shower if you want to swim. Would recommend to anyone visiting and very moderately priced for all you get!

I cannot say enough great things about our excursion with Local Travel Planner!! The wildlife, waterfalls and wine day tour was perfection! Our guides were super friendly and knowledgable and went above and beyond. They even had large umbrellas for us to use, should it start to rain, which it did. But that didn’t dampen our spirits which tells you how awesome the tour was!! We experienced so much in one day and it was the highlight of our trip down under.
