Toby was an incredible guide. There were nine of us, and he led us through the very best of the gardens, weaving in stories about the king and the grounds that brought the whole place to life. He took some lovely photos for us along the way, and was endlessly patient while we translated the tour for family members who needed it. We would recommend him to anyone hoping to discover Versailles.
It’s completely worth every penny and minute of your time . I’d highly recommend touring both the palace and gardens … take your time and don’t rush the experience. A lot of history involved both American and French. The earlier you go the better to experience. Also know your admission gives you to entries into the garden. You’ve got the main one and one off to the side of the palace. The boutique inside also has some interesting things . Our guide, Toby gave a lot of historical facts and made it interesting. You can tell he personally enjoys giving the tours .

My granddaughter & I took this tour. Our tour of the Château de Versailles and its magnificent gardens was outstanding, even with the extreme heat on June 27th. Our guide—a very tall, young man with blonde hair—was exceptional. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and kept the group entertained throughout the tour. Despite the challenging weather conditions, he did an excellent job of keeping the tour moving while thoughtfully finding shaded areas whenever possible to make everyone more comfortable. His enthusiasm and expertise truly enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Versailles. Touring the Palace is an absolute must. Even though temperatures outside were extremely high, the interior of the Palace was cool and comfortable, making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
The tour was on point, the meeting location and logistics is easy and friendly. And the tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I’d highly recommend this trip.

The 40 minute walk to the clisest pick up stop was a bit much in the heat, but walking was a nice way to see the shops and people. Without a tour group we saw everything without rushing to the next. Way more photos were taken. It was wonderful.
