Wasn't great, the group was far too big, so you constantly were waiting on people who show up late, people who had not idea how to kayak, then during it you get stretched out, etc. Was just too big, I spent the money for this tour, expecting it to be a small group with the guide.
Without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. We chose this instead of a gondola ride because we wanted something a little more active and immersive, and it exceeded every expectation. Exploring the canals by kayak as the sun began to set was such a special experience, and seeing Venice from the water was absolutely breathtaking. The guides were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made everyone feel safe and confident, even complete beginners like me. We laughed the whole way around, learned so much about Venice and created memories we’ll never forget. If you’re considering booking this tour, do it. You won’t regret it!
A brilliant trip/experience. Great guides with lots of information about Venice and historical knowledge. We did the sunset/night tour and it was a fab way to experience a different aspect of the canals ~ and to feel some cool evening air in hot weather. Would totally recommend this trip !
Was an awesome experience glad we were able to find it in time. Our guide was Sebastian. He was great the tour was really great and he was also really friendly and talkative which always makes tours fun and better. I would highly recommend getting on the canals with them.
We had a lovely time. Night time in Venice on the water.. best views of the city!
A unique way to see Venice from the water surface. You cannot see too much in 90 minutes but our host was friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. Seeing the sunset at 9 pm was very nice. Kayaks are lowest on the totem pole of water craft in Venice.yet seeing the canals and buildings and the Grand canal down low is impressive. It was very pleasant at night as the canal traffic was minimal. The kayaks are fine, with various types available. At night they also provide head lamps. The pace is geared to the participants and limited to the slowest least experienced kayaker. In this case that was me!
It was nice, good exercise, nice views of the city at night. Relaxing pace.
Surreal to be so low in the canals, see the history of the city along with activities in town along the canals. And Boris was a great guide, very fun, safe and knowledgeable.
Very nice Kayak tour with local guide. Learned a bit about the history of Venice, and about the structure of the city. I enjoyed the trip! Thanks again! :)
