The experience was absolutely amazing! Finding the meeting point was effortless, as it’s conveniently located just 100 meters from the entrance to the Vatican Museums. The team warmly welcomed us, hosted us to the entry and provided essential information to ensure our visit was smooth and stress-free. They reached out to us a day in advance to confirm our meeting point and remind us of the importance of arriving before our scheduled time slot- punctuality truly matters at the Vatican and it’s clear they value and respect that.

We got to see the best views and got a detailed tour of the Basilica, so much that she took out an iPad and would give us more detailed photos and explanations of what we were seeing!

An unpromising start turned into a magical experience! We made our way through the rain aiming to arrive at the tour starting point but with road works and rising panic we seemed to be going in circles. A phone call from Our guide was reassuring - they had not given up on us. 3 phone calls later and it was clear these people had a schedule to keep but we were not abandoned! Finally - minutes before Vatican security we joined the elect! Thank you Rome City Tours! Stephanie was like an angel - and if everyone else was ready to strangle us, she was the good shepherd who looked for the lost sheep.
