I recently went on a business trip, during which our college nearly lost their meeting spot. Mizan, the operator, stayed in contact with us through texts and calls, ensuring the tour went smoothly. The tour lasted quite a while, but overall, it was a positive experience.

Ticket was a scam, museum was shut. Was refunded by Viator. DO NOT USE THIS TOUR COMPANY.

The experience wasn’t for us—it only offered skip-the-line access without much added value (we had to pay extra 9 euros for the audio set). We would rather book a proper guided tour with more information and guidance.”

Viator’s local partners rescheduled our time (moved from 9.30am to 9.00am) as late as the night before and announced via email. When I saw this early that morning, it was too late to reschedule our trip to the Vatican. I did not get a reply in the chat in the app, first by email I got a reply that Viator is not responsible but that it is the local partner who can respond to change back time or refund. The local partner said no, only when I claimed my contract is with Viator and not the local partner did they change their mind and I got the full amount refunded. It was a few sad hours in the morning before I was told about the refund and we had to buy new tickets on site (after the queue that I wanted to avoid!). Actually, it made my experience bad. The Vatican was very interesting but I find it hard to understand how time can be moved at such short notice without cause and understanding what it does to the traveler. Thanks anyway to Viator for fixing the refund.
