Besöket i Sixtinska kapellet ingår i biljetten till Vatikanmuseerna. Från 12 januari till 31 mars kommer Vatikanmuseerna att utföra särskilt bevarandearbete på Michelangelos Yttersta Dom inne i Sixtinska kapellet. Under denna tid kommer en byggnadsställning att täcka hela Yttersta domens vägg. Sixtinska kapellet kommer att förbli öppet och fullt tillgängligt, men detta specifika konstverk kommer inte att vara synligt under restaureringsperioden. The tour to complete our Vatican experience that started 10 years ago. Back then, we were in Rome for the Canonization of Mother Theresa, and after an amazing experience with Mass and 200K of my newest friends. We tried to get to the Sistine Chapel, but we missed so much of the rest of the museum. This brings us to this year and a planned visit to Rome, with our sole purpose being to have a "real" Museum tour. Let's just be clear up front, Massimo (Max) is an amazing tour guide, blending Catholic faith, humor, and insights of a true professional. His expertise and earned respect from his peers were evident throughout the tour, and the insights into the art and history beyond the "audio" self-guided tour are exactly why we booked with LivTours.
