Det bästa välkomnar en av de största städerna i världen. Genom en liten grupp går vi genom en förspansktalande och kolonial stad. Vi kommer att se Mexiko som en fusion mellan två kulturer representerade i historia och arkitektur.

Vi kommer att se ett torg omgivet av Nationalpalatset, Högsta domstolen och silversmedsbutiker.
Vi kommer att förklara utifrån den fantastiska historien om katedralens konstruktion och ursprung, såväl som den barocka och neoklassiska arkitekturen.
Vi kommer att se utanför de arkeologiska ruinerna av Templo Mayor tillägnad regnguden och solens gud. Vi kommer att förstå dess betydelse för Mexiko och vi kommer att förstå den geografiska fördelningen.
Vi kommer att utforska utbildningsministeriets interiör, där det finns en tredjedel av de väggmålningar som Diego Rivera målade under sin karriär. Vi kommer att se festivaler, traditioner, sociala kamper, handel och politik från början av 1900-talet.
Vi kommer att besöka detta torg som bevittnade de viktigaste händelserna under vicekungadömet Nya Spanien, såväl som handeln med kryddor och produkter med Asien, den heliga inkvisitionen och Frankrikes försök att erövra Mexiko.
På denna plats stannar vi för att vila i skuggan och pratar om ämnen som: inhemska språk, traditionen för de dödas dag, musik, politik, gastronomi; varje guide kommer att dela värdefull information med dig. Vi kommer också att se ryttarstatyn av Karl IV, mer känd som "den lilla hästen", samt fasaden på Nationalmuseet för konst och Gruvpalatset.
Vi kommer att se det förflutna under en gata intill huvudtemplet, upptäcka hur det hittades och hemligheten som gömmer sig bakom många av byggnaderna i stadens centrum.
Ett måste se när du kommer till Mexico City. Dess inre och yttre är konst som vid första anblicken gör oss bländade.
Vi kommer att underhålla oss med ett vackert palats som fortfarande är i drift. Vi kommer att förstå den ekonomiska och politiska konsekvensen av ett majestätiskt palats.
En plats mycket fotograferad för sina kakel som är en ikon för staden.

Oscar has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Mexican history and explored the history of colonisation, indigenous culture and the Mexican republic with a good selection of stories. Every question that was brought up had a deep history. I highly recommend this tour to give you some insights to the stunning architecture of this megatropolis. Muy Bien Oscar!
Mon was nice and provided a general view of Mexico City. There protests prevented us from going to some of the original sites but the tour was good. Mon is very well prepared and demonstrated quite a few pictures in different sites to demonstrate clearly how the old Mexico City would look like. The only thing is Mexico City is a bit loud so the tour needs to be louder in order for people to hear clearly.
Samantha was wonderful! She gave us a varied and interesting tour even though it was raining like crazy and we arrived a bit late. The photos were helpful, and she knew what she was talking about all throughout the tour.
I missed the tour as the meeting place was impossible to find with all the hoarding around cathedral. I was there on time but every entrance around cathedral was blocked and hard to get in. Also the restaurant mentioned was outside the hoarding.Because of the riots you should have giving me an easier place to meet . I was walking around for 30 min trying to find and eventually it got too late. It was a total waste of time of money giving the hoarding. Liz

Right now there are major protests in the middle of Mexico City's central historical district. That means that there are encampments all over the place. We support worker's rights, but did not get any notification that all of the major monuments and most of the museums would be closed in light of protests. The walking tour does not work exactly well with these issues and you spend a lot of time traversing the encampments.
We had a great time with David as our guide. Loved learning about the history of Mexico City. It was the perfect amount of time and one of the highlights of our trip!
